Hello there! I know I haven't posted here in a while but I have came back for now at least. Recently I was checking this site out and noticed there was no submission for the nes game Renegade, so I decided to make my own. I know there is some mistakes in this and I don't actually expect this to be published but hey, I tried my best!
Emulator: BizHawk 2.11 Default emulator settings Checksum: 8ecba145b7130443b21eb1f509386e6fb15caf78 Note: This tas was made with the American version of Renegade, not the japenese original.

Hello, TheOnlyOne! Welcome to TASVideos!
Recently I was checking this site out and noticed there was no submission for the nes game Renegade, so I decided to make my own. I know there is some mistakes in this and I don't actually expect this to be published but hey, I tried my best!
One of the site's fundamental rules is that any submitted TAS must beat all existing records. It doesn't follow the idea of just covering games if a TAS for one is missing. speedrun.com features the following records for each difficulty: Easy - 3:44, Medium - 6:42, Difficult - 10:59 I don't see such information in your submission text and there are no videos of your TAS, but if you select Easy, then I'm afraid your run doesn't beat all existing records
TASing is like making a film: only the best takes are shown in the final movie.

So, as expected, the author plays the game on easy difficulty by keeping "Level-1" on the mode selection screen and doesn't beat all existing records, like this one, for example. The combat tactics lack optimization. Also, there are multiple moments when the player takes damage, including time loses on fall/get-up animations.
