i'm running linux suse 10 and i'd like to use VBA. problem is: i can play GB games flawlessly, however the emulator menu doesn't seem to work. on screenshots for the windows version there always was a menu... second probkem i used VBA for linux from the official VBA site, since "our" customized version is windows-only. any ideas how to get it to run? which buttons do i use to actually slow down the game? (readme didn't help) i should also add that i'm pretty much a linux newbie!

First problem: Run gvba, it's a GTK+2 GUI that works just like the Windows emulator. It's pretty neat ;) Second-problem: Well, I'm not sure if it compiles cleanly on GNU/Linux. If it doesn't, you can use Wine for it. Although that still causes problems (at least for me). If you can, just boot into Windows to run, it's what I did.
