I've already expressed my opinion that this game doesn't make a good TAS, worse so than Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat. Please watch Fultz Vol 1 if you have not already. One problem with a TAS as compared to a traditional combo movie is that you will have to watch all boring steps of the 80-hit combos (yes, 80 hits can be done on the SNES version). edit: Also, in order to perform the longest (excluding the 80-hit glitch) combos, you need to let the clock run down to zero, which is unacceptable in a TAS.

I've seen that combo video. It seems other people want to watch a TAS of this game. I'm going to make some matches of every character anyway, and will probably make a full TAS if there is demand. So far, the users who have posted are pretty positive about watching more of this game.

I would like to see combo videos or a TAS of this game. Let the people that don't want to watch it don't watch it.

Yeah, I'm still experimenting with all the characters. I found somewhat of a problem: The CPU Orchid is renound for blocking almost for the whole fight.. So it was very hard to fight against her in this video, she blocks so much... There are a few frames lost simply because she would block if i had attacked her, so i waited for a few times, inputting commands to make her attack. I'll try and find a way around this. Here's the vid: Only 2MB http://s4.11mbit.in/6reFLoP015gmEpqwO49fGM128DJuzaBms23eEp017hnc06chIOy9fG9E/ojki9lC9 SMV: http://s4.11mbit.in/g5f8aA7iAcDotz5fcDoP4a2diAGr17963v6349Fq06ciAFqw7cDJu522/dHNg8a20 Fulgore vs Orchid hardest difficulty, fastest speed, no damage. In Round 2 of the vid I experiment using normal attacks which are unblockable. The example shown is a combination of quick and medium punches/kicks executed very fast but obviously not counted as a combo in the game. It's too bad fulgore's teleport is so slow... it doesnt leave a lot to do with it. Fulgore is extremely powerful. It only takes 2 combo's to take 1 life bar. However I believe he is too slow and doesnt have many versatile moves. Also... I'm thinking of making a video where I get dont hit the opponent. I then get ultra combo'd by the CPU then I break it (its a mad glitch which will let me break the ultra combo, i'll have zero life) then infinite the opponent to death... Just a thought if I get insanely bored 1 day. Oh yeah, Spinal and Orchid will be next. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Whatdya wanna see =P

This site is not fully (or at all) for fastest time. It's all for entertainment. If you are not entertained by this. Don't watch it. I know there are users here who would love to see a game like this being brutalized like this. :D Edit: Antd - Yet again an entertaining video. Allthough I would have shot Orchid on the way down from the Ultra combo. :) Coule you please try to make as long combos as possible with each character while finishing them off? Perhaps longest combo + ultimate would be awesome to see. :D

Yes, I was going to shoot Orchid on the way down :) But she is my favourite character, so I thought to somehwhat spare her =P Ok I'll be sure to incorperate the longest normal combo + ultimate to finish them off. I'll also show some infinites (I wonder if my ROM version still has these infinites... i think so :)) Orchid coming up next... Edit: I'm busy with up and coming tournaments... i.e Super Smash bros. melee tournaments... I'll get around to this after the tournaments. I hope someone else attemps something on this game ;-) Oh I also made this vid: http://s6.11mbit.in/rxK4e7BhDjGP9Et8Ds1Bq5AKy8Io7dnx6GvaFu4MN2LM1BK4385kku4E/w91o385f It is to show how fast that damn windkick move is. Also, jumping over the opponent is good for when the CPU blocks. I'm still researching this game btw...

Jago vs Orchid: http://a2.11mbit.in/7d57PvnopiEkGdeA89a63z0suvwJKqikd052Pv1pLrsFlHeBCDab7017/FM5GH9Bh With more experimenting I have found that the fastest way to kill someone is to do a reset. Those who follow fighting games know that a reset is a combo. Not just any old combo however, it is a combo which isn't recognised by the game's combo system. In my latest vid you can see the reset in round 2. The combo takes place at 29 seconds into the vid. The combo is then reset as I do another combo -which isnt counted by KI's combo system. It takes 2/3 of the life bar ^_^ I'm pretty sure there'll be a reset which takes the entire life bar.

"being a pro" and "knowing the game well" are two different things. in the FAQ ("why and how"), you can read that here, players aren't pros, they're no better than the others players, they are just movie makers who studied the game and know it well. then, with the tools, they have infinite time and undos to perfect their work (just like a real cinema director). as for the games : there are already countless videos of this (great) game, and the rules say that you must beat worlds (human) records. unless you find glitches that have never been done before, you'll have trouble achieving that goal, especially for combos as for scores/best time : you will have to find very creative ways to avoid repetition, and add entertainment, because just finishing the game as fast as possible, or maxing out the scores, can be very repetitive. fighting games aren't usually a good choice (especially for beginners), since they are judged often for the art, and that is very subjective, hence giving you very little chance to get it accepted.

I would go for both speed and entertainment. Therefore, go for as many impressive combos as you can pack into the shortest amount of time.

Sounds good, just be sure to mix up the combos. It may also be about time, but entertainment is also a big factor too. If you want an example of a good fighting game run, download either of the Super Street Fighter II runs here and give 'em a look-over.

How about: unbreakable combos for round one, and great ones for round two? I'd also use Eyedol a few times, just to bring some variety.

If you do this run, I INSIST on a 40-hit+ ultra combo. Just don't do it in high platform stages, like Cinder's stage. Smash it into Fulgore. ^^

This game is kinda buggy. Instead of just limiting it down to high hit combos, exploit the bugs which allow you to get 80 hit combos. Check out Fultz' KI vid, it showcases high hit combos, high hit Ultras, and many very interesting bugs. Unfortunately, I don't know where you can download it.

Whats the highest ultimate one can make in this game? You should also use the code that makes the fighters use hyper speed! And why are we not using the other killer instinct thread?
