Hey guys. I'm planning a trip to London and I was thinking that maby you can help me with things that are worth seeing, like Camden, Picadilly circus, Hamleys etc. So please spam this thread with things that I just HAVE TO SEE. ;) Cheers and thanks for your help!

Tip for taking a holliday in England: Do not play songs by The Clash. If you must play songs by The Clash, do not play them in a cab or anywhere else in public. London is definitely not calling you or anybody else for that matter. (silly-and-absurd-but-somehow-still-related-news-story mode off)

I wonder if they're still playing We Will Rock You-musical... And then there's Freddie Mercury's house. Can't think of anything else now.

When I went there (was it really 8 years ago? wow) there was a McLaren F1 in some showroom somewhere. I know everybody's all about the Bugatti Veyron now but it was still cool to see. I wasn't really that excited about the various palaces that the royalty live in, since they just look like big run-down boxes and not the sweet granite and marble monstrosities with towers and ramparts and whatnot that we get in the movies. I think the things that most impressed me were Stonehenge and the Roman baths in Bath. I don't recall how far away those things are from London but they'd be worth the trip for me.

Well, there are quite a few things to see in London... Big Ben, The Parliament, Westminster Abbaye, Buckingham Palace (and the guard changement in the morning is quite a touristic feature)... Ms Tussaud's Wax Museum (famous people imitated with wax...) Picadilly is the place full of people where you'll shop (if you'd like)... Try some english fine groceries... they still sell edible things... There are also a couple of interesting museum... and some big well known parks... Be careful in London restaurant are closed after 6 PM... And as Xebra said, if you prefer natural monument, then Stonehenge is impressive but it's far from London..... Nice trip

How about a second nesvideos meeting at London? If lucky, you can get a flight from Finland to London with a mere 20 euros, which is laughably cheap. I bet other (European) countries have similar situations too.

that would be a lot nearer from where I live than Finland... so I'd more likely to go...

From Finland to London in the summer months the cheapest you can get is ~55 euros, but even that will have some taxes and airport fees added to it. This during summer months that is. (I know, I just bought a trip there.) You might get off cheaper if you want to play it to luck and go to airport looking for those superfast extra-late tickets.
