Sorry I am a bigggg NOOB. Please dont flame me :( can someone tell me how to keep the same speed running forward from jumping backwards cuz when I try to run backwards or jump backwards I dont run as fast as running forward in SMB1. I am using FCEU emulator thanks

I don't know, but you can download a movie which does this, and watch it at a very low speed in FCEU with input display on. Input display is turned on by comma (,) or full stop (.) - i don't remember which one.

Verify that your keyboard can register the buttons for "B" (running) and "left" (moving left) at the same time. Cheap keyboards have problems registering certain combinations of keys at the same time. Try changing the keys if needed.
