www.sirlin.net This website has alot of GREAT articles. I suggest everyone of you speed run whores to check it out. According to one of my friends, this guy competed with the best in capcom vs SNK. Hes a retired video game player, but his articles own.

Hehe, nice username. And yes, Dave Sirlin is the man and I want to have his babies. =P Actually, he first became famous for winning a national Street Fighter Alpha 2 tournament back in the day, mainly by picking Rose and abusing her low medium punch. Today he is probably the 4th- or 5th-best Super SF2 Turbo player in the nation (plays dictator M.Bison, in case anyone's curious)... -Josh
but then you take my 75 perchance chance of winning, if we was to go one-on-one, and then add 66 and two-thirds ch...percents...i got a 141 and two-thirds chance of winning at sacrifice

If anyone else has any good links similar to sirlin.net or anything in this general fashion then It would be awesome if you would post them please. I'm very new to all this speed run stuff so...

Hehe, you actually saw those? I have better ones still stored on my old computer which I need to post somewhere...and even those aren't close to world records or anything. And some other articles along the lines of Sirlin's are Seth Killian's "Domination 101" series. You can find those at http://www.shoryuken.com . They're very fighting-game-centric, but you could still pick up a couple useful things from them, I'm sure. -Josh

thanks josh. Oh.. and btw.. it doesnt have to necessarily be a console type link. As long as it talks about competition then its a good article to read.
