This topic has NO relation to NDS! Is it possible to allow VBA load two games in split display so that you could record bigame movie with the same input, it would not desync and replay and be controlled simultaneously (+spelling)? =) I think It's not impossible, but much of work... But still it would be really cool. P.S. Recording two movies with the same timeline but different controls and Link cable feature would be cool too... That's just too much to ask... P.P.S. some people seem to want even quad screen -_- sorry for asking this much..

Probably not. Better to implement a VBA that accepts input when not focused (so that you can run 2 or more VBAs and enter input simultaneously into each one). Ask Luke how it was done in FCEU. As for the Link Cable feature, I don't know.

Record a movie starting at the same frame in both emulators, and make sure they're always in sync. Holding the frame advance button can cause a desync easily.

Seems the problem of desync is only urgent for Windows users, like with FCEU.

Actually, Linux is far superior to Windows because it includes code to ensure that emulators never desynchronize right there in the kernel.

The handheld "Nintendo Dual Screen". The author of this topic probably thought that something could get misunderstood in some way, and decided to add that this was not a discussion about adding some kind of features for the "Nintendo Dual Screen".

Right. It's just that some gba emulators like no$gba are being now "updated" to nds/gba. So, to avoid misunderstanding I added that note )

Mybe that's because Linux is an open source freeware Unix clone?
