Yes, but I couldn't think of anything relevant to answer to the rest of it. Now I'll just copypaste what I answered in IRC instead. Yeah, I realized you meant that. The sorting is mandated by an arithmetic formula where floating point values play a role. Simply multiplying something by something does not always produce the desired result.

It would be nice if besides "Include submissions" there were "Include forums", "Include published movies", "Include all the rest pages" switches to define more precisely, where to search...

On the other hand, too many checkboxes complicates stuff overly, and make caching less likely to happen because everyone chooses differently.

If you think it's a problem that people searching for movies will first be suggested things like trick pages, simply give matching submissions priority over any other matching page. (Or perhaps only do this if the search text is matched in the title of a submission, etc., etc.)
