Riding is fun when you can ride freely.

But when they see me rolling, they're hating, patroling, and trying to catch me riding dirty.

I watched A Clockwork Orange yesterday. I kinda expected it to be overhyped and boring, and I think I was partly right. Definitely overrated in my eyes, although the main guy (don't know his name) was very good. I also watched Kill Bill 2 a few days ago. Same there, overhype. In some ways this was even worse than vol. 1, but overall I think it was slightly better. Less of the stuff I think is stupid (boring violence and hour long sword fights) and more of anything else.

Original or 2003 remake with Takeshi Kitano?

personally i think speed should be first priority
g,o,p,i=1e4,a[10001];main(x){for(;p?g=g/x*p+a[p]*i+2*!o: 53^(printf("%.4d",o+g/i),p=i,o=g%i);a[p--]=g%x)x=p*2-1;}

So you would suggest watching something like The Fast and The Furious, or did you mean you think movies should be watched in fast forward?

nah, i guess i would suggest something as short as possible like, the pink panther (82 mins). only if a scene is unescapable and impossible to be shorter should they really focus on making it entertaining
g,o,p,i=1e4,a[10001];main(x){for(;p?g=g/x*p+a[p]*i+2*!o: 53^(printf("%.4d",o+g/i),p=i,o=g%i);a[p--]=g%x)x=p*2-1;}

I watched Reservoir Dogs tonight. This is more what I'm talking about Quentin! More of the Pulp Fiction feel, before he went insane with the stupid stuff. Overall a good watch, I've rarely seen Harvey Keitel being bad in something. I've started ranking the movies I watch, 1-10. When I have some more, I'll post a list of the films and their rankings, and you can tell me where I'm wrong. Teaser: A Clockwork Orange only got a 3! Feel free to speculate on other films' rankings, or rank them yourself, etc!

Harvey Keitel was also somewhat questionable in The Piano, though he wasn't what I would call "bad."

To clarify: I didn't think he was bad in Reservoir Dogs either. Now about The Piano, about 4 years ago I watched it, and while the film wasn't anything special (I don't remember much of it), the soundtrack is fantastic. I learned to play the main theme on the piano, which at the time was the most difficult piece I could play, and proceeded to ooh and aah girls in high school with it for 2 years. You should listen to it though, it's really beautiful. I'd need to relearn it today though, it's been a while since I could play it well.

Gotta watch that one again. I only saw snippets of it, the first time I watched it. If you want some good action, watch The Punisher.

Fabian, I've come to a conclusion that you watch too much movies and TAS far too little.

While I agree I don't Fabian enough, I'd say I also don't watch enough movies. As you may notice, lately I've been trying to fix that, but considering the amount of time I spend by the computer per day (I also work here), watching a movie per day should be no problem, and shouldn't interfer with any Fabianing I might want to do (although it hasn't been much lately, as I said).

Chamillionaire is my favorite rapper in a long time, I hope he has continued success. He also calls himself "King Koopa" which is awesome.
