Hello, I got a problem: Mupen has a bug in emulating Banjo-Tooie (as you can see here). I am supposed to activate a switch with a fire-egg to open a gate, but the gate won't open. So I saved the game (not a savestate, but Save & Quit) and loaded the rom with Project64. My saved game is not existent (at least for PJ64, but it is for Mupen), so my question is why? And: Is there a possibility to get behind this gate without playing the whole stuff again in PJ64?

Did you copy your saved game file to where PJ64 can see it? You should find it at someplace like "mupen64\save\BANJO TOOIE (USA).eep", which probably isn't the same place as your PJ64 saves directory.

Ah, thanks a lot. I thought the progress would be saved somewhere in the rom, but honestly I don't have any knowledge about this kind of stuff... Thanks again. (The game works fine now, but it keeps crashing without a reason and to no particular time (that's also a problem in Mupen))

I've played this quite a lot in PJ64 and never had a problem. but that sure is a dumb bug for Mupen to have. :(
