I've been downloading and watching timeattacks for about a week now, and I've decided to try making my own. Whould Mc Kids have potential to be a good timeattack? Here is a review for those who don't know the game: http://www.leesux.com/mckids.html And here are all(?) maps of the game (if someone else wants to try): http://www.greggman.com/mckids/maps/Page.html

Omg, this game scares me..... Perhaps the reason is because it was a graphics hack called "**** Kids" Other than that, it does seem to have some potential. Do you have an idea of about how long it will take you to beat the game?

from what i remember, this game had to be beaten in one sitting (no passwords), has 30 or so levels I believe.

I can't remember how many hours it took me to beat this game back in "those days", and I havn't yet got started, so I can't say how long this run will be... I'l get to work, after work ;D And this game has 33 levels to be exact. +bonus levels and puzzle levels

I think if you knew exactly where the locations of all the cards were and could tkae advantage of the levels enviorment, it would probobly be possible to get through MC Kids in just about an hour. I can do the game normally in about 2.5 or so, so an hour shouldn't be too tough.

I would definitely be interested in this. The game is indeed quite fast-paced and has a lot of neat stuff (like the thing that lets you walk in the roof upside down) from what I remember. Making a timeattack of this game would be quite challenging though, unless you're going to get all of the cards, since you need to figure out which ones take the longest to get.

Im not going to take all the cards, just the number I need and then move on. I need to study the game first so it would take a week or so, probably longer cus I need to do other stuffs aswell =/ But ok, I'll do it sooner or later.

Looks great, makes me want to play it myself. Comments/questions: Where's the impossible jump you've mentioned? Also, would it be possible to skip 3-1 entirely and instead pick up the card after the warp to the end of of 3-4? In 5-1 when you use the block to float on lava, could you put the first block in the lava, then grab the second, jump off the block and throw the second into the lava, and then jump on that? When you're picking up cards which are placed on the edge of solid ground, is it possible to stand on the edge of the card and then pick it up, so that as you're doing the "pick up" animation, you're falling instead of staying still on solid ground?

Err I meant skip 4-1(the one that's on the bridge) in favor of 4-4's second card. The purpose of the two blocks is that by throwing the second from the first block, you will be able to jump to the second block and save the time it would take for the first to get there.

I have the actual cartridge version of this game and I've played through it numerous times, and I have to say that speed run is really fun to watch. Great job!

I sort of got in the mood of playing this game again. Was there any interest in seing a 100% version? Grabbing all the cards in the game I suppose. What else should be in there? I don't know much about it yet more than from my fast run.
