andrewg: Here is adebis's finished test run. He was planning on improving it, but never did. So this would be a good estimate to the time you were wondering. Phil: It works with v7 and v9 (I didn't test v8). But the desync is most likely caused by having the wrong ROM. You need Super Mario All Stars + World to sync. Just Super Mario All Stars desyncs before the Lost Levels even gets started.

Why SMAS + SMW? That's s...y :P At 1-1, it is slower by 1 timeunit compared to me and Genisto's WIP. Any good reasons? At 1-2, I prefer our version because we did not just walking and enter the pipe. At 1-3, we took the flower there because we tested and judged that it is better. 1-4 is improvable.

Yeah I know, I'd like to see the differences in the runs, NES version compared to SNES. The full completon will probably be better though, thinking again about it.

What the hell, your account got deleted, okay, but all your previous posts did as well? Lame. Fucking LAME. I hope my posts don't disappear if my account is ever inactive. Or my submissions, for that matter. Oh well, glad to see you back and kicking ass once again! I'm going to watch your run now.

I have no idea how adebis's account was deleted, except that yesterday's unprepared shutdown might have issued some database inconsistency in whereof some random items may have been deleted. Anyway, I reassociated the lost posts to Adebis, so please report to me if there's something still missing, besides Adebis's old account which I can't restore.

Well, this is pretty easy game for TASing World A Done Theres weird thing on A-4 Bowser after killing bowser and hitting axe screen suddenly stops when mario walking to bag. Its the koopa dropping into lava and i couldn't figure how to avoid it expect for waiting before hitting axe. The weird thing is this haven't happened other bowsers and on last version i killed this browers slower so koopa already was dropped into lava and this didn't happen. Well in overall killing bowser is now 14 frames faster but that thing takes 24 frames.

Yeah, it happens sometimes. Although I have no idea when...only that it only happens when the enemy isn't already in the lava when you hit the axe. I do it all the time playing the game normally. :p

Good run. Well-played and fun. Question: If capping enemies on the way up from a jump propels you faster and higher, shouldn't this be used more? Also, for D-2, I think it's possible to do a long jump on the springboard, and walljump the brick the flagpole is fixed to. (Might be fun. Maybe I'm thinking of a different level. But it is possible to do somewhere.) Andreas
