I'm not sure if this has been discussed but the more you hear about it the higher, you'll see (but probably not), the demand. Anyway, I looked through the hotkeys and could not find frameskip's or screen capture's hotkey, if someone could direct me to them that would be nice. If not, could you implement those two at the very least, speaking to anyone with knowledge of VBA and programming, then it would be a little more convenient. It turns out that screen capture and frameskip are the same key. Also, I have to bring up, could "lazy avi recording" be implemented in the next release. Even though not too many games are long and the resolution isn't as big as the other console emulator's I would feel safer knowing that I could leave a run recording and not have it corrupt. Just a few things I feel are worth noting.

"ScreenCapture" is in the hotkeys list (in Tools > Customize All Commands...). I don't know what you mean by "frameskip" but FrameSkip0 through FrameSkip9 are also in the hotkey list. Fast-forward doesn't seem to be in the list, probably because it's not a normal hotkey.

The screen capture is set to F12 by default. I don't know how could you fail to find it in the controller configuration screen... And, I don't know why would you need a hotkey to change the frameskip... just use the + and - keys (not in the numerical section)

If I remember correctly increasing the speed doesn't skip any frames it just goes by them quicker. Frameskipping/Fastforwarding skips a good chunk of them and is even faster than increasing the emulator's speed. Also I do think that it is a little confusing to have some hotkeys under the inputs of the controller since I haven't even begun using this emulator for anything except viewing movies and thanks for answering my "possible questions".

There's a "speed" button, which temporarily sets the frameskip to the maximum limit.

Decreasing the speed reduces the number of frames that are skipped, and conversely, increasing the speed increases the amount skipped. It may be that the frame skip needs to be at least 1 for that to change it, since the speed it acts as a multiplier of that, whereas the fast-forward mode temporarily sets frame skip = 9.
