Dont know if this has been part of a thread but, who is your favorite character of any platform/genre? I like Albert Wesker from the Resident Evil series. I guess just cause he is a badass & on RE for PS1, the movie at the beginning makes him look sweet. But a well known character favorite can be Alucard from Castlevania SoTN.

I'm a huge fan of the Red Arremer. I'm also a subconscious fan of a lot of other characters, like Zero, BioSpark, Soma, etc. But yeah, mostly this duder:

I always liked Nei from Phantasy Star II. I got so obsessed with trying to save her that I actually leveled her enough to enable her to defeat Neifirst alone. I think that was when I truly lost my innocence.

Rydia from Final Fantasy IV. At least was, until I ran across off-game art of her.

I like many characters (including Alucard and Red Arremer), but nobody beats Solid Snake!

What's wrong with that? Doesn't look so bad to me... http://www.icybrian.com/fanart/doc/rydia.jpg As for my preferred character... I don't know. Perhaps Lara Croft (and, seriously, not because of *that*, you pervs).

Easy as a boiled egg. My favorite is probably Alucard, or maybe it's U-1 (from GitarooMan), or it could be Vibri (from Vibribbon), or maybe Frog or Magus (from Chrono Trigger). Darn... that wasn't so easy after all... but it's probably one of those.

Kefka from FF6. Easily the best villain ever. I've never been a fan of the good guys.

I'm not fixed on one character but I like Lara Croft, Samus Aran, Zangief (for the coolest fighter) or Sabin Figaro from Final Fantasy 6 / 3 US. There are sure some other but I can't remember them all. And I agree, Kefka wins the prize for the biggest bastard of all evil characters. :-)

Leonardo from TMNT probably was my favourite character when I was a kid. Haven't had any notable favourites since then, I guess…

I always though Leo was lame because he was bossy and... lame. Mike and Raph are my favourite Turtles.

At that time, I was obsessed with swords. The other turtles' weapons seemed rather lousy compared to dual katanas.

Zidane Tribal from FF9, closely followed by vivi, followed by the others except quinna. Still my favourite FF-game - it has characters whose primary trait is not the sword on their back.

FTW! Here's some non-crappy off-game art of her:

I'd have to say Jesse Bains from Police Quest ... I spent a good part of my youth in pursuit of the death angel ;) Second would have to be LeChuck from MI :)
