I strongly prefer to torrent the AVIs so that I do not have to worry about de-synch but they have been a little picky for me lately. Lately though, they have been timing out. When I save target as they say they are done but there is no file there when I look for it, and when I copy the URL into Bit Torrent (I will switch to Azureus or something better after a torrent finishes) it says it times out there as well. Is this a server issue? Is this a temporary issue? Is it on my end? Anyone else been having this trouble?

the torrents are hosted on the same machine as the emulator movie files, the frontpage, the forum (minus a few static images). If everything else on this site works fine for you, I don't see why the torrents would be a problem. when you just click the torrent link instead of using "save target as", what error message does your browser give you? (and btw, which browser do you use?)

I've been using firefox 1.5.something... and regular clicking provides me with a timeout error or the save target as/open prompt... but then the same issue occurs from there, it pretends to get the file but doesn't actually get it. Testing IE now.... huh... weird... it seems to work fine... Tested Firefox again just now, still broken... and get this: the IE Tab extension of Firefox allows me to get it just fine too. Weird.

If it works with IE, it seems to be an issue with your Firefox. Do you by any chance have any other weird extensions installed that might have screwed this up? /me looks squarely at fasterfox Well, you could try disabling your extensions one by one. If that doesn't help, try it with a new, clean profile. If it still doesn't help, I'm out of ideas. On the other hand, Firefox 2.0 has been out for a day, if you want to upgrade it'd be a good idea to do so before tempering with your extensions or profiles.

My torrents are working weird, it doesn't seem to upload any of many movies (some other movies are uploading though). I use Bit Comet.... And no, I don't plan to change it.
