If a movie gets denied publication simply for obscurity or a high boring factor, keep it dumped in the gruefood bin.
But also make a page on the site that lists only movies denied for being too boring/obscure, add a link to their submission pages and maybe add a screenshot.
There would be no avi's to save time/effort/site resources, and the page itself wouldn't take up much space at all since it would just provide site users with a link to the submission page that already exists. And in that submission page, one has all the information from the author and the ability to download the movie file.
Think this be a good solution?
'Boring' is somewhat subjective (some people think two hours of Super Mario RPG is boring; all people (I think) think two hours of Tetris (just standard Tetris) is boring), but I like Morrison's idea. The Gruefood part of the forum is useful as an archive, but it would be better to have a thorough, ordered list of the most well-executed boring movies. It would be even better with screenshots, of course (although that's not necessary)...
Even if Bisqwit (or whoever) wouldn't work on it, I'd contribute some time towards the page if it was made.

I am not sure if you mean to have a page where any registered user of the site can recommend runs that are already eaten by the grue... but I see too many possible areas of abuse that can happen. Also, what if a person see something worthy of recommendation in a run that nobody else agrees with (back to the "boring is subjective" argument) or if each person recommends 1 run (or the author recommends his own) it would beat the whole purpose of the Gruefood archive.
I don't know, the fact that the boring-ness of a run is subjective makes such a page un-definitive. Anything can go there, since DK64_MASTER wrote:

Even having moderators to manage such a page wouldn't sound right, since who is to say for sure that the moderators' view of boring-but-worth recommendation being right? Whichever way I look at it, the page just doesn't sound unbiased enough...
