So anyhow, there was a major world Video game tournament last week, and here is a little clip of a major comeback and the crowd going fucking bananas. Thought maybe some of you fellas would get a kick out of it. http://media.shoryuken.com/srk-daigo.zip The game is Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, and if you've played it, you'll know how crazy this video is. If you didn't, all you need to know is that if he blocks the super, he'd dead.. and to do the "blue flash" parry instead, requires pricise tapping of the joystick towards, right before the attack connects. It's HARD. Videos like this are awesome IMO. I hear there's a vid of a Starcraft match from korea or something, where this dude Boxer makes some amazing comeback or something and the crowd goes insane. Girls crying and everything.. I gotta track it down. anyhow. Enjoy!

Ah yes, the Daigo match. I was there, IN THE FRONT ROW. Just the defining moment of the tournament... Some other great comebacks that you'll want to look for when the DVD comes out: ViciousSuicide vs. Eternal Fighter in Soul Calibur II ViciousSuicide vs. XCTU from the same tournament Nick Vitale vs. Tomhilfiger in Tekken Tag Justin Wong vs. Raoh in 3rd Strike And other non-comeback highlights: Buktooth vs. RF in CvS2 Daigo vs. K.O (3rd Strike Finals, not as good as last year but still lots of fun) Aenica's play in Tekken 4 (the ONLY high-level Julia player out there, he's from frickin' GREECE, how can you not root for him?) All of Shou's top 8 matches in Virtua Fighter Daigo losing to Ratio1Beatdown and Eddie Lee in CvS2 (he didn't even make top 8 because of this) Ricky Ortiz beating Dan (top Jpn player) TWICE in CvS2 And last but not least...ANYTHING INVOLVING KUNI IN SUPER TURBO. I love this video because it would have been impressive enough if he simply did the parry --> super but he went above and beyond with an air parry --> FK, c.mk, c.fp --> super. UNREAL
