Collecting and placing every piece of furniture in Juste's room changes the good ending slightly. Lydie will be leaning on Juste instead of merely standing between Juste and Maxim.

Yeah, there's a room in the castle, where Juste is dropping all the collected furniture each time he finds it. Looks pretty neat.

please what? nothing in this game looks "neat". From the ugly blue outline and the trails behind your guy (and bats) over the new enemys they included to the second worst area of the game called Room of Illusion... The backgrounds are so crammed with colors that it's sometimes difficult to distinguish them from the touch- or killable things. Even the toned-down castle B rarely has a colour that wasn't used in a Lego article. The designers were either colour-blind, on LSD, or both. Given the so-called "music" which is even surpassed by some NES-games, they might have been deaf as well. At least they're now. about the furniture Room .. if you intend to live there, don't open your eyes. If the colours don't kill you, the composition will. If it still doesn't, the incredible amount of tasteless object should. The bottle with the face.. the bunny.. the moose-head on the wall.. the cat (that's offscreen, thankfully).. who would want to spend time there? it's ugly, just like the rest of dracula's freakin castle. </rant> That being said, the physics engine is exploitable enough, and I look forward to the run.

LOL, I always thought they were on LSD as well, but honestly I liked the trippy colour scheme in my own twisted way. More (6.6 MB) on neat colour schemes and flashy transitions. :D

Why, I laugh every time I see that mess. Isn't it neat, anyways?

I never unstood why Juste went around collecting furniture... I mean what the fuck is the point? I guess I'll take some time out my busy schedule trying to rescue Lydie, and kill Dracula and collect some furniture?! The fucking Castle is destroyed at the end anyway! What a dufus.

Please. Juste is the manliest man of man since man came to mantown. You all wish you had his brightly colored room and ridiculous, overbearing, soon-to-be-destroyed decorations in said room in the basement of an extremely color-mismatched gigantic castle that has a counterpart in an alternate dimension. Don't hate.

You forgot to say we were also jealous of his androgynous good looks and silvery long hair.

I wish I had a pale complexion like he did. Maybe I should avoid the sun for 20 years. Btw JXQ, have you worked on this anymore? Just curious, no hurry!

I figured it was obvious enough that it needn't be mentioned. (also LOL) (Yes I've started, but I've no real progress to speak of yet)

Well, I wish I'd live in a basement, but that's just a clichee thing. Not THAT basement of course.

I've just finished Skull Knight. Yay! Now I have the double jump, and need to relearn optimal movement before I progress further. I'm trying to whip launch off of candles and/or enemies and having no success. If anyone has any pointers I should be aware of, that would be cool. Thanks!

Cool. I'm not sure about the optimal way to do the whip launch off enemys or candles yet. I do know that doing the dash launch you hit 'A' for 1 frame and forward for 1 frame, then you back dash as so as you can, and then you hit B and whip 2-3 frames later and you'll start flying. Have you done this any so far? There are a few edges you can do it off of to save time. I've got a movie a few posts back if you missed it. If you don't mind I'd like to see a WIP.

I've done the dash launch, but that same technique isn't working off of candles or enemies. I have quite a few demos of the trick, but I can't replicate them yet. Run Under Construction Not canceling my dash around frame 16600 was an oversight, but it surprisingly ended up being the same speed. Edit: Maxim's laugh is one of the best pieces of recorded material I've ever heard.

Looking pretty off the wall. I'll test the stomp launch some after I finish the MMX intro stage. It'll be different with different sized enemys though.

I like it. Especially the tricks with the whip brought a grin to my face. :)

I have gotten the whip launch to work in both directions from either corner of a skeleton enemy just outside the save room I'm currently at. Unfortunately I can't get it to work in the candle in the above room, where I think it actually may save time, jumping over the two twirly-thing-purple enemies. (As you can tell, I know so much about the names of enemies, weapons, and techniques in this game!) Also, looking for anything useful in this game's memory is about as good a use of your time as searching for errors in a normal distribution chart from a statistics book. (I actually found an error once) ARGH

here you are JXQ. it's not optimized but it shows it's possible atleast... I think the angle your at is key. edit: I did it much lower this time. I don't think the back dash is needed, but it helped some.

to do the "whip launch" off an hittable object, you should be moving towards it, and then press + A[/color]. I can't perform it when I use a diagonal.

Thank you both very much! My problem was pressing diagonally on the controller. (My avatar isn't someone running.)
