Metal Slug 5, and KoF 2003 and above are deemed too new, therefore, emulator developers don't want to officially add support for them yet. As for Metal Slug 4, I think MAME has recently added support for it. Wait... Final Burn Alpha is still an ongoing project? I thought it was dropped years ago.

First time poster! I'm Ferret Warlord's bro, the one who did the MS1 and D&D runs as well as the Gigawing playaround. Honestly, I was just playing around but I would like to know if there is any interest at all in seeing some quality TAS of some of these arcade games done. ps - for those that watched them, a few comments/questions on my old runs would be nice!

Well, I've just checked, and to my utter surprise, the latest version of MAME does indeed have support for all of those newer Neo Geo games such as Metal Slug 5, Samurai Shodown V, Power Instinct Matrimelee, and some others. Hmm... *waits for Kawaks to be updated accordingly*

If I ever get done with my current run (and if arcade emulation support gets a lot better), then I call dibs on Alien vs. Predator with 3 players.

My brother seems to be in the arcade run scene, and he'd like me to share some of his stuff. Currently he's finished an all-kill, all-collect run of Metal Slug, a run for Gigawing with a 14 digit score starting with a 6, and is currently working on the first Dungeons & Dragons. The Giga Wing run doesn't work (it gives me an error when I load it).

Would it be possible to re-upload these two files? They no longer exist on sendspace and i'd really like to watch them. Thanks.

Keep these coming, I love watching these quarter eating arcade games being beaten with ease. The Mars Matrix Movie should be submitted to the site. That game will have you crying trying to not die. Excellent movie.

I would have submitted quite a few by now, but there seems to be some issue as to why they don't accept arcade runs yet.... here's the topic: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4342

Guess I'm the only person who cannot get any FBA feature involving rerecording to work (whether that be making TASes or playing them).

Why not? Do you have the right version? I honestly don't know. All I know is that I downloaded the version found in this thread.

Dut: Would you happen to have a link to Kawaks 1.55? I get a de-sync trying to play your DDSOMA.rc1 when using 1.56.

Ive played all 3 DD (SOM, TOD) replays in Kawaks 1.56, and they all worked fine. remember the som is actually somA, so load the right rom. Just dont pause the game or do anything weird like that, because that will cause desynchs Ive found. And to Shadow: Your linkes on rapidshare have expired, can you upload them elsewhere? thanks

Garou would be great I love this game :D I even tried it a little bit (just the five first fights) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbnJC5kQdhQ&fmt=6 (read the description before you write hate comments xD) I think this game would look really great in perfection.

Well, shoot. None of the games I want to run are supported. :( (Act Fancer, Charlie Ninja, and Water Kids)
A hundred years from now, they will gaze upon my work and marvel at my skills but never know my name. And that will be good enough for me.
