same here, also skipping a lot of hard parts in the game, while amusing, feels cheap for a TAS of a game that makes difficulty its "selling" point…
but yeah, categories to the rescue

Yes, we get that Mario can go fast enough to clip through plot barriers. It's not interesting any more.
talk for yourself :\
I don't know how publishing of hacked games works here, but if what people say, that it should show more of the hack is true, then I guess this is a meh rather than a yes for me, and a 151 stars should definitely be a yes

Hey guys, Dennis wants to update his .m64, since he was unaware that you can save time by ending input movie earlier.
Here's his .m64. I hope this is a suitable way to update his .m64, if an editor can change it please. Thanks guys!

waiting for encode
edit: found it on his YT account, he says more than just himself TAS'd it though, shouldn't they be added as authors?

For anyone who's interested, Yume Nikki works, though some slight tweaking was necessary (audio problems). It's not exactly the most exciting game in the universe, unfortunately.
Just wanted to thank Nitsuja for making this kick-ass program.
if it were submitted I'd vote yes, except there are some things you do which don't seem to make sense… sometimes when going back to the doors room to activate the speed glitch again, you use the bike, other times you don't, also I remember the glitch was faster to activate and didn't require the snow thingy but maybe I'm wrong…
does this mean RPG Maker games can be TAS'd? O_o

"I'm not sure what you mean by 言って下さい. It means "please say". I think you meant to use 行って instead of 言って (both read itte), as in "please go to"."
can't believe I missed that <_<
@MUGG: how did you go to that page? O_o I think I'd be able to translate them if I could copy paste the kanji I can't read in a dictionary
@Fractal: what does お行き下さい read as?

Vykan12で1:23:45.67でファイアーエムブレム etc
where did you get that phrasing from? I think "Vykan12で" is incorrect, I would put "Vykan12の"… though even that doesn't sound 100% correct

You could also ask at the Romhacking.net forum. There are subforums for translation and language discussions.
I did what you said, and it was a great idea! I got a couple translations from a member there. They look better than Google Translate IMO.
What do you think?
regarding first translation:
1. has a mistake in "アプデート" it's missing a character: アップデート
2. last line is translated to "This is a TAS" rather than "This is a tool-assisted recording", which completely breaks the point IMO, but I wouldn't know how to say that in Japanese
3. ページは英語だけですが、日本語のフォーラムもあります。this roughly translates to = the page is English only but, there are also forums in Japanese (I feel like this translation doesn't make much sense, but I could be wrong)
4. in the "Visit there for updates and more informations" translation it says "this page" instead of "that page"… but maybe it's correct like that
5. "出した物" I don't think this can be considered a translation of submission… or at least there could be a better word, a dictionary gives some but as I never heard of any I don't know if they're good
6. also found weird how he wrote "言って見なさい" at the end but "言って下さい" in the second line, different ways of saying the same thing which looks inconsistent to me…
in the second translation only parts that could be better in my opinion, but I don't know if they are, are:
詳しくはホームページへお尋ねください。 = the "go there for more info" line
ホームページは英語のみ。日本語版のフォーラムはあります。 = only thing I find wrong is using "homepage" instead of "website", part of the problem the first translation has too
プレー時間: 04:05.02 = the playtime line
maybe if you went around nicovideo searching for TASes, you could find some terminology to copy? like, I'm not sure how to say "playtime" but it's something that could already be there on some vids
