Looking good so far. I'm guessing when you get to the Second World you're going to skip everything once you get the airship that can fly above the clouds, I can't remember from seeing the topic before. Are you going to be getting the shoes that make you faster when not in battle? I can't quite remember what they're called.

What's the rom version for this? When I play the movie it just gets to the first battle and keeps pausing, so i'm guessing it's version but I don't know.

So you're saying if you're faster than maximum running speed and you press forward you'll slow down?! I guess I didn't know much about this game after all...

I think it's certainly possible, but not without the most focused mind. TSA certainly must have one, and I'm sure he could do better but with the amount of time he's already spent on it, he should move on for a bit. Master Quest anyone? lol. Only Kidding! I'd love to see it though, and the wind waker (even though I think it's the worst zelda of them all).

Yeah, but the files are mega-huge and stops recording completely once you press escape. Edit: Well, they have the sources on the website (I think they are anyway). Maybe someone could look at it? My programming skills aren't that good for things like this. If someone could get rerecording working for this it would almost be the ultimate recording program as it has so many consoles/computers inbuilt

I've just downloaded this multiple emulator program and seen that it has a function for recording input. I've also noticed there's psx emulation on there. I know it doesn't have slow down and the emulation isn't 100% perfect (I'm actually still to get a game running, but i've only tried two). It also has many other emulation systems. Maybe this could be used? I know it wouldn't neccessarily be the best thing for perfect movies but who knows.

If it was possible, I'd help you. As all you'd need me to do is tell me what to do.

Brilliant run. I loved the ending where you only had 1 health left (unless that was a desyncing error). What I'd love to see sometime is someone doing a no damage run. That would be the most impressive run for me!

Personally, i'd rather see it all without the up A trick. Of course it's up to you.

I can't wait for this! So many hours I've wasted on... Enjoyed playing this game! Maybe someone should do a run collecting all the emeralds, or hitting all the tvs (ok, that last one will be a bit too long). I've always wanted to see a run with special stages (or of just special stages. Hmm... that gives me an idea, S&K and S1 anybody?)

And btw, I looked thru this thread again, noone is actually doing speedrun on this, makes me sad, lol.
I'd be happy to do a run of any game, no matter how long, just I don't have enough knowledge to do them. The only game I do have enough knowledge about is Lemmings (which I don't think I ever completed). If people would tell me what to do, I'd do it, but I guess that if people did know what to do they'd be doing it themselves (if that makes any sense).

You see all these movies that are told to have luck manipulation, and think 'I wish I could do that' if you're new to the movie-making teams. This is what i'd thought when i'd first came to this site and started making movies (well I did, and would like to know how others do it). Can anyone say their ways of luck manipulation? How about in Turn Based RPGs like the FF series.

I can get camtasia to run at near 60 fps on my pc. i could always record it for yu if you wanted me to. I'm probably being a bit stupid but where is the file you're mentioning?

The size of the file is 138mb. How do you want it sent. Through msn (if it doesn't take too long) or how?

I'd also like to see it. My msn is the same as my email address: admiraljonb@aol.com if you want to send it that way, or just go on the irc channel. i've never been in there before though.

If you don't mind delayed audio by about half a second i can make you one now (there's a problem with the program i use at the moment). I'd edit gens myself to get the avi function working but my Visual Studio is registered to my old machine so I can't use it at the moment (and it takes aaaggggeees to install, well it did on my old computer). Hopefully I can get it working briefly for the wip compilation.

I could make one if you wanted. with my new processor i can make movies close to 60fps, even on STH3. I'll make one now and then send to anyone who wants it or upload to the site if possible.

I'm guessing it saves time, 'cause if you don't need it, don't get it in this site unless your doing an absolute 100% run

Seeming as there's a SNES run, which I personally don't like (not the runs, but the game itself), why not make one on the Genesis one? I think it's a much better game for starters. I'll start making one myself but I don't actually know too much about this game so it probably won't be too impressive as a perfect run. Anyone interested in making one?
