Is there an option to slow down the game like in Famtasia?

I keep trying to do it, but get no luck. I keep running into the enemies once I've failed as well. I'm no good at spinning the control stick, not on Mario Party and certainly not on Zelda.

Is that a corrupt download or something? When I go to download it's only 6.8mb (something like that) and nothing plays.

Sorry for the double, but I wanted people to know I've updated my site with a new act. It's only version one, but what do you guys think? Also, I'm still waiting for an answer to the question in the previous post.

I think that the glitch may take away from the excitement. Maybe you could do a mixture of both - dodge a few attacks and use the pause trick. It'll save some time and make it as exciting as without. Where you might not beat the best times that use the pause trick completely, you'll have amore exciting movie. Just remember that it is your movie, so it's up to you what you want to do and whether you want to be influenced by other people. [Edit: Why did I say that last part, I'm trying to influence you. Oh well, I guess it is true.]

(Edit: Just calculated it. Times above 53.33s end up taking longer than if you'd waited for 60s)
I guess I'm glad I got over that time! After trying hard to improve the first level with no luck (some of you guys could probably do better) but I'm going onto act 2 as I'm too annoyed with this. [Edit: Do you guys think I should fly to the right at the beginning of Hydrocity or go underwater? Underwater would be faster overall because of the time taken to fly (I think), but this would mean something not everybody does]

Thanks, I'll be sure to try some things out. [EDIT: BTW, I've just updated my site with the first act. I've decided to do it with the emeralds as I wanted other people to be able to see the real ending. It's a different link than on the Genesis Movie thread so you'll have to go through my site to get it until the thread is updated. I've kept the old one up there, so if anyone doesn't like the faster one they can still download it. I'll probably update it sometime, but I'll concentrate on this one mainly. Don't forget, you can email your movies there as well, but don't all of you, I don't want to be banned from this site!]

I am going to redo it sometime, although by then I'm sure you guys will have a much faster version EDIT: How in the world can you do Angel Island 1 in 0:44! Any chance of seeing it?

Personally, I'd rather see one without the pause trick. It makes for a much more interesting movie, and doesn't make the bosses boring. Oh, and before you tell me to do it, the only boss I can defeat is Bombman with the Rock (Mega) Buster. Personally, I'm better at Network Transmittion (I can get to the second boss easily, and that's it).

I think someone should do this run, it's faster than the other two and there are quite a few shortcuts within the levels. I started one, but If it's for pure speed it's terrible. I've done up to the Launch Base Zone if you want to look at it, getting all the emeralds by the first ring in Carnival Zone (I've done better at proper speed though) and using Super Sonic throughout. I found a glitch in this level though when I was playing it and didn't want to retry it as it was so annoying the part I was at that I had gone through a lot of the rerecords (The is in the Carnival Night Zone). I'm sure it can easily be beaten and can easily have more interesting things in it, but I was doing it for fun at the time. If I get through it, I might do a retry before September. You can get this at my new born, but rarely updated http://www.freewebs.com/gamemoviefiles/. If anyone wants their movie there (not .avi please) just follow the About page. I havn't bothered to make a requests page yet.

What I like best about it is that you can make everything faster! Could easily beat the NES run if you know what you're doing. Edit: Prince of Persia I''m meaning Edit 2: That site for Mega CD has a terrible description about controls for PoP
Try taking a small step forward and your prince rushes ahead into the pit
You would fall into a pit if you ran when you were close to it.

Really? Oh well, at least you can play Prince of Persia much faster and there's another Sonic Game. Of course, Popful Mail is a brill game as well. I'd love to see a perfect run of that!

The Technology is already there, in Gens, except for the savestates. I've been recording a few myself (Whenever I get something wrong I have to replay the movie, but...), not good enough for this site I might add. I've been doing Flashback and Prince of Persia.
