I just downloaded this, and noticed on the first page you said there was the option to view pressed keys. I can't seem to find that anywhere, Can someone tell me where this is? Oh, and I definately have the latest version.

I use VDMSound and it works perfectly for me. Just those movies are too long for me to watch at once without using the computer otherwise and it keeps freezing when i load the box back up. If only I had sound drivers for DOS...

I love this game! Well, actually i have the genesis one, on cart. I also have a strategy guide for all the versions of this game (which is actually a script from a telephone company that you'd ring up if you need hints).
I remember once writing down the directions you had to press in the mine cart which got all the stars in one shot, whether it's in the NES version or not I don't know. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find this for years.
I think the most intriging thing is that you have to complete all the mini-games and stuff to make sure you have every single star to
--spoilers--
unlock the final dungeon
--end spoilers--
Thought i'd just do that just in case :P

I agree with you about the time. I thought this was a tool-assisted perfect movie site, not a time attack site... Anyway

Some games don't run at the full speed of 60 fps. I know for one, lemmings on the snes does the same as this and runs 20fps as that extra speed is not needed. Just be glad they didn't do this on the Sonic games!

Are you the same Saturn that did the Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 6 and Terranigma? If you are then I'm a fan of yours! If you get this working correctly, good luck! I'm sure it'll turn out great (If it is the same person)!

This may be a bit unrelated, but why doesn't anybody like doing runs with emeralds in them? It may not be the shortest route but seeing those special stages perfected... of course this run there's be no point in getting them as you are this far into the game. I know quite a few people that would like one with all the sonic games.
BTW, Great work so far.

I hated the Labrynth Boss, I can't defeat him any more :( Mind you, I was trying a couple of time in a few minutes then had to stop and couldn't bother to get back to it again.

I find it pretty good, comes with about 50 (sometimes more, sometimes less) games, some emulation (surprisingly), some not, some remakes. Came with the games factory last month (yeah, i know it's out of date). It has a lot of interesting information about retro games, like there's a search for old arcade machines and interviews with game makers from the old days. Had a top 100 a few months ago of retro games (Vice City somehow got in there) and top place was Elite, one of my favourite games when i was 3 years old, of course i had no idea what was going on then.

That's right, in UKs Retro Gamer magazine, this site as well as a few others are mentioned in their superplay article. SDA is also mentioned for legitimate runs as well as some other sites.

When I said that, I also meant a low percentage as there would be no need to get all the energy cells. If it doesn't get accepted on this site, that's fine. I just want to know I can do a run before I do anything further, so Super Metroid probably isn't the best starter but I'll try it anyway. No guarantees.

Arigato for the movie!
Anyone ever thought of doing a No Damage Run (apart from when necessary)? This would be what I would like as a superplay movie. I've been thinking of it for a while, but don't know enough to actually do the run without guidance. BTW, that would also mean beating Ridley at the beginning as it just saves time by losing damage to end the battle quickly. I'll see if I can start something this weekend.

Personally, I prefer movies that look like the impossible, but look natural. I'd like to see more movies without damage and without using glitches. I'm tempted to make a no damage run of Super Metroid apart from the places needed. Sure, it may be slower but I think it looks a lot cooler!
Anyway, shouldn't this really be in a different topic?

I got this game today, the post (mail for the americans) messed up! So far, I've found it pretty easy, although i've only just got past the dark alpha stinger (is that what it is?). I've been scanning everything so far. I doubt i'll be able to, but maybe i'll try a speed run sometime once i've been through the game a couple of times.
I've noticed that i've been horribly cautious the first time going through a room, but other times i've just ran straight through. Maybe it's because I've heard this game is a lot more difficult than MP1.

Wow, TSA, you have a lot of scores on the games i like! Anyway, back to topic.
I'm not too sure how much i've scored, but i'm horrible at the game. I think my highest score was about 753, well i suppose i should say that it's my only score. I may like the game but i never really played it after the first time i finished it. I'm ashamed with myself.
