However I noticed a new issue, audio becomes very out of sync during emulation.
I had exactly the same problem - the audio starts to go way out of sync during gameplay (I experimented with Pit-Fighter). I also tried to record a movie from power-on and the play-back desynced after a minute or so (not sure if this is actually supported yet?).

Can you remove the jp bios from your folder and try with just bios_test_ext?
Removed the other bioses and just have bios_test_ext: can confirm it works! The audio seems to be very quiet and only plays out of the left channel - not really familiar with the system, so not sure if this is by design or not.

Not having much luck with the MSX core - I just get a black screen when trying to load a cartridge. Bios files are present in firmware and no error message (only thing mising is bios_test).

Personally, I think a working TAS-capable Amiga emulator would be amazing; the workflow in recording games for the system is so long-winded without re-recording. Toni Wilen (long-time author and maintainer of WinUAE) did implement re-recording capability into one of the 2.x releases, but the feature never truly worked, and was only "supported" using a very strict base A500 configuration. I believe he cited problems maintaining cycle-exact timings, which proved problematic due to the custom chipsets and CPU configs, plus it wasn't something he considered a priority to develop anyway. You have multiple possible CPU and memory configurations, OCS/ECS and AGA chipsets and a whole bunch of other stuff as well.

Hey folks - just wondered if there was any time-frame with regards to the Amstrad CPC core in BizHawk? I noticed that the latest dev build can run CPC games, although the display issues suggest it's not ready yet. There really aren't many options when it comes to Amstrad emus with reliable video recording, let alone TAS features, so it will be really cool if/when CPC support arrives!
