This is why I hardly visit this forum anymore, nor did I really get involved with it in the first place; everything becomes an arguement. Why can't people just chill out and discuss things without getting into an arguement over something they'll probably forget in a week? Edit: on-topic: ive always wanted to meet a classical rock musician(s), but sadly never got to experience that feeling.

Nice. I have a couple of characters on Silvera, but a lot of power abusers are ruining the world lol. That's why I posted this thread; to maybe get an idea of what worlds seem more fit for me. But then again, hardly any users showed interest in this thread, sadly.

Is anyone into playing the MMORPG Tibia? It may seem a bit dull at first, but I'm sure you'll get into it after leaving Rookgaard (boring tutorial world). If anyone is interested, make an account! (I'd recommend Optional/Open PVP worlds.)

Well, with that attitude... I just hope no one has to bump this in like 6 months lol.

I couldn't really find anymore timesavers in the 1st world. Chicago, on the other hand, will be an interesting level ;). For example, if you jump before making contact with garbage cans, you'll fly higher than normal. I found several spots where this trick will be useful. Also, there are a few shortcuts (due to bad level designing) that save a little bit of time. I'd show you some of my findings, but I'd rather not deal with desyncs at the moment lol. On a side note, I'm trying to see if it's possible to "death-warp" while wearing the speed shoes (couldn't find the proper term for them... the notes with shoes that makes you run faster). I haven't made any progress with this, yet. Hopefully I can find something in the next few days.

Okay, thanks! I'll let you know if I decide to pick this up. I've never TASed a 3D game with this kind of freedom of movement and I'm pretty busy myself but I might be able to!
Haha good to know! I do have an idea for the 2nd/3rd room (can't remember which off the top of my head): Go into the room and break open the closest vent and go inside. Afterwards, it might be possible to jump from window seal to window seal without having to go back down and break the other vents. Just a thought ;)

I'm interested, but does this mean you're not planning on making a full run after all?
Well, I thought so at first, but I've recently become busy with a lot of stuff (school, work, etc.). So if you want, I'm officially passing this off to you, CoolKirby. Haha, I'm more than happy to give my input on WIPs, helpful suggestions, and stuff like that. But, currently I don't have the time to TAS this game. I say this because I don't want to start a project and drag it out forever. Good luck if you decide to pick this up, man!

I'm sure you've tried numerous times to create the trick in the GEN version, but I'm sort of interested now. I might mess around with it a little bit and let you know if I've found anything.

He'll be here all week, folks! Seriously though, why didn't you use the Genesis emulator? Nice WIPs, btw. ;)

Well, if I were to guess, I'd say the bug is lag-related. Maybe the water also comes into play. You might want to ask Randil, max, or someone else with a bit more experience with this game for a more in-depth answer.

I thought someone posted in the N64 emulator thread that 1964 has TASing abilities now? Might've been a misread on my part.

I might try my luck with the 1964 emulator, but regardless I'll keep you guys posted.

A little off-topic, but are there any plans for a CCCless run in the future?

I'd like to see Splinter Cell exploited. Maybe someone can use Yautja Elder's speedrun for help, granted that his run is still the fastest.

Just looked at reviews of this game and they average at about 4/4.5 out of 10 lol. But glad to hear you're interested! However, I'm having a lot of desynce issues with Mupen. The desynces usually occur after I replay the movie, sadly. If anyone can help me with that, I'd really appreciate it!

It depends on whether people are interested in seeing a submission of this game or not. If so, than I plan on making a run. However, no one seems to shows any interest in this game. I'll probably need some help down the road, so you'll be the first person I contact :)

Well it turns out this game will definitely be harder to optimize than I thought. However, I still plan on posting a WIP here eventually, for those of you who are interested.

Do you guys think Toki Tori would make for an interesting/watchable TAS?

Compilation video of Task 7 of the TAS Competition: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VG-OSlLpVEc Lots of good submissions this time, the OoT TAS community is getting a bit bigger! We are also going to start the 100% run soon. We haven't decided whether to get Map/Compass/Boss Keys yet. They add a lot of extra work to this already insane project, which is a huge downside.
I might participate in the next task. How often do you post tasks on ZSR?

SwordlessLink posted a WIP by Comicalflop a couple years back: Link to video Not sure if he's worked on it since then... He said it's obsolete, but in the description of the video, SL said "he DOES intend to finish it" ^_^ As for some of those games, there are WIPs all over YouTube and NicoVideo and I'm sure the authors intend to finish their WIPs eventually.
