Doom has had Tool-Assisted videos for time immaterial. The demo format used by the game itself is essentially a list of inputs by frame, similar to demo formats used by emulators. The current record for beating Doom 2 on Ultra-Violence! is 14:41. http://doom.wikia.com/wiki/30uv1441
