Either the submitter is new here and didn't read the site or he is fooling us (1st April didn't come yet)...
And it fails to beat the best speedruns. Voting no.
By the way, what is "princess only" supposed to mean?

The main reason I didn't wrote the any% TAS on the list was because I had already written it long ago and I was really believing we'd finish it in 2012.
A comparison video will be uploaded tonight...

Did it happen because I selected 'USA 1.1'? For that TAS is 161 frames faster than Panga's and it means around 2,68 secs. If I can change this unfair advantage over the previous run, I'd like to do so.

By the way, thanks for the encode and for the positive feedback. I've just edited the submission and put the level-by-level comments.

This is an automatically posted message for discussing submission: #3819: Amaraticando & Dnnzao's SNES Super Demo World - The Legend Continues in 17:55.96
I don't understand. Playing the movie on the emulator, the last frame of input says 17:57.72, not 17:55.96, as the site is claiming.

That awkward moment when a platform comes out of nowhere and a Chuck-Yoshi appears. I love those glitches, good work so far. I am sure this is gonna be one of the greatest runs ever!

Amazing run! The hack is beautiful, the TAS is entertaining and have many breaks, like using 2 P-switches to pass through the floor. YES vote.
A 100% TAS would be even better...

OK, we have to accept the rules of the site. The hack is popular, but it doesn't mean it was well made. Justin Bieber is popular too...
Anyway, gbreeze and I didn't initially intend to submit the TAS, we just did because some players said it had a chance. But if the KMW2 run can't be accepted, it is kind of unfair to accept our run.
Therefore, I'm in favour of cancelling it too...

There you go.
for example 3:40 (skipping half of the room by having yoshi from the room before)
or 5:03 (holding p-meter the entire room before, so here it is possible to fly)
or 6:03 (flying under the room)
Also, this run is not really optimized, i can save 13 frames and there are still some possible improvements. I still don't like the design of kaizo, so i voted No
When I read your post, I really thought you've found an improvement in Item Abuse. Can you show me the smv? I am not really an expert on fadeout lag.

Also, Dawn's Item Abuse could be improved, I saved 7 frames over his just testing something.
In fact, it can be improved like 2 minutes. It doesn't mean his TAS sucks.

This run was nice I guess, but I don't even know what the submitter is trying to accomplish. Felt like a 11:45 minute SMW playaround.
I don't understand your doubt, because this aims for fastest completion of the game (any%). Playaround only when we have to wait for something, like in the auto-scroll level.

It's the same video with a different timing (the description of the video explains it exactly). Splited in WOrld 1 and World 2, because all the previous runs had the same 'cut'.

Thanks for the comments so far.
Two things:
1) In the zip file, the title says "11.52.02", that was the time shown in the emulator. I don't know whether this is a big issue.
2) This encode uses another timing, so the actual movie file is slightly different at the end.

I'm not so certain that that one would be rejected; it very much gives the impression that you're using an unintended route through each of the levels, which is always fun in TASing. (As opposed to the more crazy Super Mario World romhacks, where doing the sort of thing you do there is actually the intended solution.) It's still possible, though.
But look at this:
"Runs of hacks are under much more scrutiny than runs for normal games. Not only does the run have to be good, so does the game hack, and exceptionally so.
The level design in this game is absolutely horrid. The levels themselves are not cohesive or aesthetically pleasing. Enemies which don't really go with the terrain are present, sometimes with graphical glitches. Enemies are seemingly floating in the air, or packed into absurd places, all in the name of difficulty. Nothing about the game itself bears any kind of professional polish."

Kaizo Mario World 2 is like the 1st game.
I am posting the video here, because it was the first kaizo hack which named the genre.

Kaizo Mario World in 11:44.30 by Amaraticando & Gbreezesunset:
Link to video
Of course, I wound't submit it on TASvideos, because Kaizo Mario World 2 was rejected.
