Since, I'm not totally skills in those kind of prog, I think I'll pray for someone to eventually do it, I'll still try to help you the best I can but I don't think that I'll be of that much help.

I hope your speedrun gets published in The Big Push on SDA this month. That is, if you've submitted it yet (I can't find it in the "movies needing verification" thread there).
Last time he talk about that, he was talking about doing a quality test then try to submitting it but I don't know what happen, maybe he did but I didn't saw any of them :/ . BTW, it's been a while since I didn't post CoolKirby, so I'm still looking for this game, you're the man ;) and if someday, the GC emulator start working well on Mac, I hope I'll have the chance to help you with your TAS a bit :) . So great job and take your time and submit an incredible run like I'm sure you are able to.

INSANE... Simply insane job guys, this was, with majora's mask, the best TAS I've seen of my life. There's no way I could say no(hmmm...did I say no thrice?). but seriously, I hope to see more run of this kind in the future, like RingRush said, what can happen to you if you have jesus with you :P ? This is an absolute yes ;) .

hypothetically, if we would be excessively strict on the speed rules, this should outrun the 70-stars route since they are both in the same category"BLJless" but seriously, along with the majora's mask run from mr.grunz, the 70 stars route is the best tas I saw by far, so it would be totally nonsense that this run obsolete the other(that is still in the submission currently). I also don't think this should create a new category(BLJless 1 star and BLJless 70 stars) so I'll go with a no on this one, in some places it's not even completely optimize but great job though on the find to skip everything without BLJ.

I'll go with a weak yes but you should go watch Tompa version, it's optimize and everything(you can manipulate the RNG to make the enemy hit you to move faster). I would either advice you to try and beat Tompa(which would be insanely hard) or doing a 4 swords game, because, you should use the version that is optimal(in this case it's the Snes version) and a 4 swords run would be very interesting. No matter what you decide to do, good luck ;) !

Good work but this isn't really optimal, I liked the concept of no coin and I really liked 8-1 but if you want a Mario run to be accept, you should: -use the good rom -learn about more of the mario glitches: -You didn't do none of the flagpole glitches -You didn't get through the wall in 1-2 -You didn't do the bullet glitch in 8-2 -You 8-4 water part end wasn't perfect(if the RTA is able to do it perfectly, then a TAS should be too) -You should work a little more on the entertainment, So this would be more interesting to watch. I personally advice you to redo it again with all these elements and there would be a greater chance that this would be accepted but even then, most of the people doesn't seem to like the concept, so it will probably get rejected again :s .

I'm not sure if the 100% run for SDA is being approved, or if it's being turned down. I hope it gets approved, cause I watched all of the segments on Youtube. It's pretty well done aside from some minor mistakes. Right now it looks like he has to re-encode every segment.
On this, the speedrunner don't want to re-encode every segments because of HDD capacity and a lot of other reason and anyway, he's currently working on a improvement with a couple of new strat we are using, on this, I'm currently planning a single segment of this(any%, not 100%) and I have a couple of question I would like to ask if it doesn't bother someone to check this out for me please. Is the jump animation the same speed as the hammer animation (with and without action command)and if it happen to be different, by how many frames is it and do someone know the exact % of close call effect work. Thanks in advance!!!

Thank to scrimpeh for the link to VBA rerecording and thank to mugg for the, I'm not sure, but kind of ironic comment but that look like a lot what I wanted to do from the beginning. I decided to run this app via crossover but when I run the windows version of VBA it didn't work, so I didn't know that it would have work with VBA rerecording. Thank you again to both of you!!!

I found two version of VBA but both of them(1.7.2 and 1.7.4) doesn't include slowdown, frame advance and movie recording. It would be nice if someone show me either a way to do with what I have(which I think is impossible :P ) or show me a better emulator for mac that include these option. thank in advance!!! Sorry if a similar thread have already been cover but I didn't find it.

I agree, that's very good. If you go see SwolessLink account, the WIP he post are totally insane. Just the shadow temple with MrGrunz strat is incredible: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa9EVAHHACg& And he post this video this morning and it's also very nice and like someone in the video comment said he "could skip a good portion of the temple" with this :P . http://youtu.be/MP221K2-8QU Now edit, thank!!!

Just to be sure, MST stand for main story??? Aside from this, I agree that it would be very nice if someone would work on this. We should ask mr. grunz, his MM run is totally sick(but it totally took 2 years also :P )

Yep, I was aware that this was TAS, it was pretty obvious even without the menu bug. I went through bloob's run again and realized that this one is way slower, the alternative parts that he take are slower also. I didn't remember correctly bloob's run and though that some parts were faster(the Jap one), it was my mistake.

That was pretty the reason why I ask, since I saw that the route was different in some part and that I can't tell which strat is better.

Hey I'm pretty new here, I was lurking these forums for quite a while now. I'm an active member at SDA and like TASer and SDAer :P are going so well together now, I was hoping to give and or receive help. First, I saw a run recently on Youtube that look as fast or faster than the current one here, he use the JAP ver. The only thing in is run that I couldn't under stand is skipping the first cinematic Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhcbmrF6GWY&feature=related Since we can't always trust human eyes and I don't know if the Jap version is faster, I was asking if this was actually faster than Bloobiebla's one.
