Haha, I actually have this game. I didn't even know that the game had an ending until I watched the first TAS. Yes vote here.

You couldn't shoot Jaws way more when you first encountered him? Or does it just not make a difference in the end?
He wasn't at Level 3 at that point, which is when you actually kill Jaws and end the game; taking him out before then doesn't really matter in the long run. If I'm not mistaken (and I probably am), he just ran into him to get more shells in order to level up.

Him. Her. It. Potato. (I haven't played the game, sue me. That's the impression that I always got during the ending anyway. >o>)

...somehow, I think that my "two TASes" line would have been better served here. Ah well, works either way. I've been passively waiting a while to see this and the Sypha movie updated to FCEU, and you did not disappoint. Yes vote.

Random thoughts while watching: "Wow, that pose makes her look like a ninja. Or a schoolteacher. A possessed schoolteacher." Rather entertaining run, and I'm not even into Castlevania. Voting yes.

Haven't watched, but a couple of notes: First, SNES9x is more heavily supported here than ZSNES. For one, the modified version that's on this site doesn't desync on you every three seconds. It doesn't matter whether you prefer one emulator over the other (personally, I like ZSNES when it comes to actually playing games), fact of the matter is that SNES9x is currently the emulator of choice for TASing. Second, I personally think that a Challenge run Pokémon Puzzle Challenge on Insane difficulty would be more entertaining than Tetris Attack's Extreme Hard mode. Imagine garbage blocks constantly being dumped on you without remorse — on the first level, no less — and that's PPC's Insane difficulty. But then, that's just me. I might get around to watching the run later, depending on just how much suck the syncing is.

I watched this alongside the current published run, and the improvements made are just ridiculous. The movements are smoother, and the boss fights are much better this time around. Yes vote.

It's too bad that the Saturn has such sucky emulation, because I'd opt for a 100% TAS of that version solely because of the special stages. Regardless, it would be interesting to see this get TASed. Besides, if glitched Chaotix got accepted, then I'm sure this would too. :V

Rockman 7 may have its moments in the Japanese version, but Mega Man 7 had the cooler ending. I've nothing else to do, so I'll watch this soon and get back to you. Edit: Haha, nice trick against Freeze Man. Also very impressive boss rematch fights, and Rock ninjajumping through the walls amused me. Overall good quality run. Definite yes vote.

While well-made and extremely impressive in terms of manipulating luck, this is probably one of the most repetitive runs that I've ever seen. Barring the bonus levels, there wasn't anything that kept my interest in the TAS. Same basic strategies, minor variations here and there, lather rinse repeat. Basically, it was like watching a shorter version of Star Ocean. And we all know how I feel about that particular TAS. No vote.

Good grief, I can't believe someone actually remembered this game. I really liked this run. Labyrinth 3 made me CRY WITH DELIGHT :| Definite yes vote, and should get a moon as well.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN, TWO TASES *ahem* Wow, this was pretty entertaining. Loved the stuff that you did during the "acts completed" section. Easy yes vote.

Are there any particular ones (aside from the example you just mentioned)? Because I never noticed it in the basic mobs. That, and I haven't played the game in quite a while.

They should delete the source code for this game too. Also, the machine code. Also, every copy of this game in existence.
Reminds me of a quote that I saw a while back...I knew I was saving it for something... *pastes*

Easy, Normal, Hard, and Super Hard. Aside from the difficulty — which if I recall correctly doesn't determine the enemies' lifebars — in Super Hard the enemies don't have a "!" over their hear before they attack. Useful if you're planning to abuse Counters. Concering the stats of the three main Heroes:
  • Enn — the fire user — has the best attack, but his mobility isn't all that great. In fact, it's only one up from Hyu. Somehow though, I don't believe this factors in airdashing; if that's the case, then that could be abused to heart's content until running speed > airdash.
  • Ray — the lightning dude — has the best mobility and decent attack starting off, but his specials aren't really that great.
  • Hyu — the ice man — has good specials and defense (lolz defense in a brawling tas), but his attack and mobility stats are EX Gold Crap.
Just something that someone would want to consider in case they're planning a TAS for this game.

With the way the stats are spread out between the characters, I don't think that mobility vs. power would be that big of an issue. Besides, there's always upgrading your stats, so if there would be a "problem", then chances are it would be rendered moot after the first stage. I believe that the real fun would come in as soon as someone creates a legit SRAM that lets you play as all of the characters. ...well, maybe. That's my two cents. Don't spend it all in one place.

Haha, that was quite amusing. The game even breaks like Rockman, although in different ways. Definite yes votage.

Wow, that was pretty bleeding awesome. The solutions were interesting and creative, and it kept me enthralled from start to the time when I passed out in my bed because I needed sleep. (Don't worry, I do this to nearly every TAS I try to watch in bed, so it has nothing to do with its entertainment factor.) Definite yes vote on this end.

Just to let you know, the game is based on a bad 1990's TV show, not a bad 1970's one. :P There's also an SNES game called Super Widget. How I remembered that, I have no idea, but I do. I... don't really know what to think of this game. The zipping is rather amusing, but other than that, I didn't find anything particularly interesting about the run. It also comes off as "unoptimal" to me, but I'm probably the last person here that needs to be splurting out such things. (Also doesn't help that I've never played the game.) With that, I think I'll abstain from voting for now. Edit: Ahaha, I post and the game ends up in Gruefood. Also, seems I was right about the unoptimal comment. Hope the new run turns out much better.

Nice necrobump there. And also, if the DoS version was played, then people might actually know what the hell is going on before the animation happens.

Heh, the instant I read that, I thought of a certain Sonic fangame that runs on GBA emus. I highly doubt that it would be seriously considered and/or (especially) published, but it's a rather amusing thought nonetheless. *vanishes away*

Don't forget, in the X series Zero had boob lights! :O Watched the run, thought that it looked pretty nice. Despite the improvements that could be made, I still think that this should get published. Yes vote.
