What about making a "movie player" type thing. It would read the movie formats, and play the video no matter what. In otherwords, covert the rom and movie into a file this player can read, but the rom can't be extracted. It's probly more coding than it's worth. As for the Jap games TA's. Those are the hardest ones to watch if you want to. Very few seeds and hard to find anyway.

Man i love DDR, but machines are so expensive to play. Thats why i invested in pads for Ps2. Best i can do is 7 foot AA's and almost got MAXX Unlimited Stand. AA'd, but i work on it everyday. Problem is consoles lack some of the better training songs for 8 and 9 feet. I do have Stepmania, but i need to order a SP2 compatable ps2 adapter.

Gald to see this published. You took more care in entertaining during this run. Main spot is bosses. You also use special weapons more during the stages, which is a staple in all NES MM runs. The password screen seemed a few frames slower than the previous entry. Mighta just been me.

I voted yes, but under the pretence that the old moive in 56:xx stays. Every version of a movie is worth publishing. (version not every attempt) Being too nitpicky at a first vid is overkill. If he finds improvements, he'll make a second, or better yet, let people who see the improvements revise and develop their own. Still, there are minor optimizations which were in the non-glitched run that should be used here, if possible. Yes,

This topic came up w/ a bunch of my college friends today. How many actual Nes games do you own compared to the ones you have on your compy. I actualy have anywhere from 85-95% of all nes games released in the US. About 70% of them were inherited from an Uncle who collected them when the NES was originaly released. So i'm curiois, do you own many of the carts you have software for?

that makes more sense on the jumping thing. I am pretty new to this area. I don't remember specific examples of the item useage, but i'll take your word there too. This is one of the few carts i do not own, so i'll be playing this soon.

i only have one...beef...about the movie. There are a few points which it looked like you played realtime, and didn't erase mistakes. Early on you jump 3 times for a small easy jump, some item optization seems weird. (one boots wore off, then you waited 4 seconds to put on the new boots) This is one game i do not have in my NES collection, and it is a very good movie to watch anyway.

i'd rather look at starwars on nes, (which is pretty bad, ) than FFVII. Pong is better than FFVII. my ranting 2 cents

I voted yes mainly do to the way the run looks. He moves and plays with the riders and still gets amazing times. Track 5 was AWSOME.

They are entertaining to watch, mostly because 7/8ths of NES games i played as a child i couldn't beat, let alone get past certain lvls. To see what you can "really" do in games and attack them, is part of the intrest in them. I remember owning Battletoads and a Game Genie, and still couldn't beat it. So, it's fun to watch. The title says all. Tool-assisted SUPERPLAY movies. Anyone can timeattack with the tools, but it takes someone good to produce entertaning movies of glitches and avoiding enemies, so on....

One game i loved as a child, but could barely beat was the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I've been attempting a TA of the first lvl, and it's proving harder than i'd think. I cannot do it right now, but i'd love to see it.

*cough* Tactics games are all open to some interesting TA's because the slow part of the game is the menus. The Tactics are also a part, but tactics are a part of every game. Although FFT is a ps1 game, i'd love to attempt a TA if i had the tools. The original Front Mission might be my first target for a Tactics game. As for SMBRPG, refresh me, does the superjump max out on Damage? i know in theory you can jump forever (and tool-assisted, literaly) but does it do that much more damage. Something to look into if a TA was attempted, specialy low lvl.

i always remember the Saucer ship as the final boss form. Maybe i never got that far... but i'm pretty sure i have. It may be i never got past that final boss before him. I am recalling from when i was like...6 so that might be so. *pops in MMAniversary Collection* Time to right the wrong. Thanks p.s. the euro names of the weapons are so much cooler. I always hated, You got ITEM 1...that i know i remember correctly.

Offtopic, let me know. But i just watched the posted MM2 video on Bisqwit's from Morimoto i believe. And, the end of MM2 and RM2 are ....different! The alien boss was not in the us version, i'm 99% positive Are there any other differences like that from RM > MM?

SNES games i'd like to see/try Secret of Mana Earthbound (although, i believe it to be too long to attempt ) FFT Ogre Battle Any Front Mission (god i love that series, haven't played 2 yet) Chrono Trigger (a new game plus run might be more entertaining, going through most the important storyline.) Illusion of Gaia might be the shortest one of all to attempt. Has anyone done a Zelda: Link to the past run?

If i was to do kickle, i'd release a modified AVI without all the transitions...just my opinion. I'd release the emulation vid also. American Gladiators takes President. (SP?)

One of my Fav games as a child, but so very hard to get perfect. Especialy the wall, which was on of the first games i can remember using alternating a B sequencing to move. There are also "levels" where the compitiion gets harder, and so on. 1st level is done, but i have no idea how to post the begining here. Tell me if you want to see my first attempt at a timeattack. Notes: Not really clean yet. Worked on powerball alot, it's the best i could get. Joust attacks are more than needed and i take a hit or two. Assault i miss twice with my attacks. Few optimizations needed on the wall. Cannoball is the fastest possible, maybe a few frames possible.

I'm looking for a game to try my first movie with, and Kickle Cubicle was an idea, but i believe that the formation of the ballons and the destrustion of the level for all the levels would make it long/boring. With all the re-releases of FFI and FFII, a speed/luck run of those might be fun to try.
