Thanks you very much for explanation, yeah i missed 4 byte addresses for character speed. Now clearly i see that: Jumping speed = 2.031177... pixels/frame Walking speed = 2.000000... pixels/frame. Btw awesome test-run so far! I really enjoyed all new stuff. P.S. I found small improvement for "Handicap trick" - in 2-1 is possible to hold nearest bat by throw marbles and in result to die faster. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/228153820/Mickey%20dies%20faster.bk2 This humble trick saved 32 frames :)

From Castle of Illusion, the most useful trick is the Bunny Hop; jumping is mostly faster than walking.
Can you please explain how execute Bunny Hop? At first look no matter Mickey is jumping or walking speed is always = 2 pixel/frame... I feel dumb but i can't move any faster. I would appreciate if you can show movie example.

I always like "ring attack" and other non-trivial goals. Especially it true for sonic games - where crazy actions on full map is a tenfold more enjoyable and entertaining to watch than simple zipping to end of stage. Easy yes vote. Good job guys!

Yeah it true, all modern AI are very highly specialized. However it does not mean that this situation will last forever. Sooner or later breakthrough will happen. It just a matter of time. I not too naive to say that it happen soon. But if you ask me will it happen before 2042? I say "yes" is much more likely than "still no".

Not be so pessimistic at forecast. I remember a just a few years ago everyone said that we're decades to centuries away from being able to make an AI that able to defeat best human Go players. However Alphago devs has disagreed to wait so long. Link to video Nowadays it has 60-0 win streak to best human Go players. So may be we are already close enough to the Day when self-learning AI which are smarter than humans in many other fields will be created.

Yes, as YamiAmarillo said it already known over year. I started discussion here just to motivate someone to finally improve outdated TAS. P.S. Question about high chain jump in Intestinal Distress is still open.

It's possible to do the chain jump in Level 5 on the first set of chains that is closer to the portal, but it requires a leaping chain jump instead of a hop chain jump, which is not possible (yet) from below.
So even higher chain jump possible?! I wondering is it possible to do similar jump to make skip in Intestinal Distress? Or not?

Initially i wanted simply re-synch old ElectroSpecter movie. (Like i did for Mickey.) But this game is not re-synch-frendly :( Seems best decision is completely re-do whole thing from very beginning. It is a hell lot of work. Not sure that i will be able find time for such big and serious project. At least not soon. So if someone want grab this project i bless him. Speaking about other improvements: There are also Chain Glitch. Jim can jump at ends of chain (he not supposed to do it, however he can). At end of Level 5 it help to make small skip (pic) It save about 3-4 seconds. Probably it can be helpfull somewhere else. There is also similar spot at Buttville, but unfortunately it skip 4 plasma weapons so it require extra research.

Awesome skip!! By the way in submission message ElectroSpecter also mention that he was skip the wall In The Cave of Wonders once, but not able to replicate.
ElectroSpecter wrote:
In The Cave of Wonders, there's a wall blocking you from the monkey boss (the one right by the two health hearts), and to get rid of it, you have to climb a rope and hit a statue. I've reached the area where the wall should be before, and it hasn't been there, even though I hadn't hit the statue yet. I can't figure out how this happened, and I can't seem to recreate it, but if I could it would save a few seconds.
Would be great if in new TAS this mystery will be finally solved.

Sorry guys, so far hard to say something particular. Almost no progress from mid july. Truncated-sensei very very very busy, and he can't find time to redo one small (but significant) segment. I patiently wait him more than two months... But i still kept enthusiasm at this project. So when this unexpectedly long delay will be over i gladly will continue work again.
