Did you make sure read only is checked? That's usually what the problem is...

So, what about the trade to evolve pokemon? You haven't really said anything on that, although I expect you have something spectacular planned. =P

Can you complete the game without the code without touching barrels and still get 105%?

It would have to be a 10 second difference for it to be faster...I haven't seen the WIP but one can guesstimate if it would take less than 10 seconds for the termite to get there. Hmm..

I hope this run gets some work done on it, it's my favorite WIP (Far more action going on than zelda, although the sequence breaks in zelda are hot) FODA keep up the great work =)

Hmm...wouldn't that cause skips in the video instead? Up to 5 seconds of skipping according to the patch?

Yeha, well your vote doesn't really matter anyway since the run has already been published (unless you just want the runner to feel good about himself for getting no No votes) ;)

Well, you're not allowed to start a movie from a save states, so a "run" would be every single BtP or BtT. And I suppose using the pause glitch would just be annoying and wouldn't really show anyone what the REAL time would be, so good work.

The Super Mario Kart thread in the SNES forum is VERY similar to this, Huffers designed a bot that read values in memory in the SNES, then had the bot input stuff, loading save states as needed. He ran into a few hitches with the way save states are handled, but it did complete a track overnight... and then he lost all his data when his HD died, but you should talk to him since he seems to have something that works reasonably well.

I haven't watched the run but most likely the reason is that he doesn't want to hit the goal from a high place triggering the dance scene that accompanies receiving an item at the end of the level.

Yeah, TSA is in the new Guiness World Records 2007 book that just came out, I saw it at Borders today and I was surprised to see Micheal Damiani 5 hour 4 minute Ocarina of Time and 3 hour 57 minute (recalling from memory don't remember if it's correct)Minish Cap times listed under console gaming...those were from 2005 for crying out loud!

Meaning you can resume recording from where you left off instead of leaving read only unchecked and loading a save state, i think.
