I've wanted to improve this run for a very long time, but didn't know of any possible improvements. You did a really good job. Nice work.

I'm glad my WIP found out to be helpful. Well done. Finally this run got the attention it deserves.

Nothing new was found during the run, just the way to monitor the character's speed. So only very minor tweaks can be made based on this.

You've got my yes vote. Also I can confirm that indeed this movie is more optimized than mine.

Yeah to be honest my TAS shouldn't be on the site in the first place. By all means, go for it. This run introduces some further optimization too.

Neat stuff. Again no idea how I didn't manage to find the perfect ROM. I actually spent some time looking for it. I knew the run was improvable, mostly by fixing the ending positions after killing bosses, and better luck manipulation. In addition did a few niceties I never thought of, which I kinda liked. I think you could've avoided a jump or two in the second stage, therefore saving a frame or two. You accelerate to full walking speed anyway. Submit, no?

I actually hate how good this TAS is. I love this game and I've played it to death, but I still can't find anything at all to improve this movie. Also I'm quite sure more than just 1-3 frames are sacrificed for entertainment, but it clearly is the right call, as it makes this TAS way more enjoyable. I'd really like to make a faster TAS, but I'm just unable to, which saddens me.

There does exist a thread for Castlevania3 already. Find that. All of the Castlevania3 runs on tasvideos are improvable. I have a Grant wip that's about 70% done and over 10 seconds faster. I'll finish that..sometime..maybe. As for the Sypha run, I suggest you improve the current one, as that's pretty much your only chance of getting it published. Using a password is silly.

Hey everyone, I've put together a speedrun contest from the completely obscure/completely awesome NES game Wrecking Crew. For those unfamiliar, Wrecking Crew is a puzzle platformer that allows you to design your own levels, so I’ve created some devious levels for anyone brave enough to try. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3bucgRo1Qs
I know AndrewG (has the smb1 world record) is very familiar with the game and has planned to even speedrun it. Get him involved.

I was quite entertained eventhough I haven't played the game. Good stuff. Voted yes.

I don't think this game makes for an interesting tas anyway. I mean come on, it's just so horrible.

Definite yes vote. Tasvideos needs more Umihara Kawase. Too bad the games are so short. Perhaps we shouldn't try to beat them too fast.

ZSNES? Really? SCV4 with no hits takes the beauty out of TASing the game. It's a lot slower and wouldn't deserve a separate category.

The tas shows some interesting (new) glitches, but isn't very well executed. It looks quite unoptimized most of the time. Also the game is sort of uninteresting. No.

Beat was used in kopernical's TAS to kill Wily. But Baxter skipped the letters in his TAS because they weren't needed. Edit: Damn you Baxter, always two seconds ahead...

The running animation is so awesome. In fact, I'll vote Yes just because of it. Screw you, haters!

Thanks to Slade and Peter, the following happened: Kraken got raped. Taros got raped. King got raped. Zalbard got raped. Cameela took it in the butt. Red Baron got raped. Geshp got raped. Odd Eye got raped. Galam got raped. Zeon got raped. They truly deserve a Contra title. This TAS turned out way better than I first thought. I knew Peter would come in handy, but I didn't expect him to annihilate everything so fast. The tower fight was ridiculously fast. Voted YEAH!
