Wonderful, I voted yesterday, forgot to post, and now I don't remember what I voted. :( I was very entertained, so I'll just assume I voted Yes. I would say not to obsolete the current movie, though, because I think that one is more entertaining. I'd also like to add my hat to the "I'd love to see a run with non-Nintendo references" club.

It synced fine for me using ROM ActRaiser (U) [!].smc with CRC32 EAC3358D and SNES9X v1.51+ v6 SVN113 with CRC32 1F56F25F on snes9x.exe.

Voting No because your routes seemed unoptimized, and you completely forgot you can jump in this one. Also for skipping the first couple maps.

It's the other way around, actually; the US version is like Nightmare Mode of the Japanese version because you can't take damage. The game is absolutely nuts.

Starting from SRAM would probably be worth it for a ST Tornado run; if memory serves, you need to beat the game with the ST Falcon to unlock the ST Tornado.

The way you blaze through the game makes it seem not nearly as bad as the Angry Video Game Nerd made it out to be, but it still wasn't that entertaining to me. Voting Meh for game choice.

I'd like to see that strategy in a 96-exit run; 74 frames is a pretty small tradeoff for half of World 1 looking new and different. I'd argue that it would work in the any% too, but I suspect I'd lose that argument because the any% is so much shorter, the difference would be that much more noticeable.

This was an excellent improvement. I wait with bated breath for the day when Luigi is eliminated from the published run and we then have separate runs for every character.

The current run also had more fights because SDR does two-player fights; this run does not.

Unless you can find a way to get Rush Search for Forte, 100 CDs with him is impossible; from what I've seen, the ones you find with Rush Search are not spawned until they've been dug up, so just glitching into the ground to try and get them (which is all I can guess you're thinking to do) won't work.

That was a fun run. Randper Kombat and Hyper Fighting made for some really funny moments. I do agree with Mr. Kelly R. Flewin that more glitched fatalities would have been nice to see, though, but that's not enough to keep me from voting Yes.

A quick note: with AGTP's translated "Megaman and Bass" ROM, the run desyncs after the Dynamo Man revisit. (All the previous runs had synced properly with it.) The run itself was awesome. When I saw the graphic corruption going on, I burst out laughing. The glitching was awesome too. Definite yes vote.

I was toying with the idea of doing this when I was still TASing with ZSNES, and did a couple levels, but ZSNES's desync problems frustrated me enough that I quit. I'd be very interested to see this. You should talk to Nach or Nitsuja about it; I think one of them did some work on finding weak points and other such stuff.

The second autoscroller (with the boat) was pretty funny, and the third one was also good. Beyond that, not the best game, but a good effort. Weak yes.

There can be a "Maximum CDs" run with Forte, but not a "100 CDs" run, because there are a number he cannot get to at all, most notably the ones you need Rush Search to get. He can probably get all the rest he wouldn't normally be able to reach (like ones that Rockman would need to slide to get to) via zipping, though.

Ranger-X on Genesis had at least two-thirds lag frames from the winning submission for the second Dream Team Contest.

I'd say wait until there's link functionality in VBA-RR, then run Gold and Silver simultaneously and do it as a catch-'em-all run.

Supremely awesome, Truncated. My Christmas was good this year. I attended Christmas Eve services at Old Fort United Methodist Church, spent the remainder of Christmas Eve visiting my dad's brother, then spent Christmas day at my mom's parents.

The in-game timer shows an improvement of only about 0.13 seconds (8 or so frames); where did the remaining improvements come from?

So essentially the same system SDA has? I would be in favor of that.
