I wouldn't say best ever, but this one holds a special place in my heart; it was as a result of seeing this one that I found TASVideos.

DeHackEd's Microstorage for emulator movie files would probably be useful to you. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php

Well I'm planning to TAS this game for fun and time killing. I go read the super mario world tricks, but I don't understand clearly some 1: How to know the right frame to release → for the running?
If you're using gocha's SNES9X Memory Watch program, release -> the frame before the osciallation hits its' highest point (49 for running, 51 for flying, 52 for Lakitu Cloud glitch.) If you're using SNES9X's built-in Memory Watch, release it two frames before.
2: I don't understand 6/5.
6/5 is used to take advantage of the hopping glitch while keeping your P-Meter full, so you can go from doing the hopping glitch back to running if need be. While in mid-air, you release -> for six frames; Mario's speed stops oscillating while this is done. Then you hold -> for five frames; this oscillates Mario's speed back to its' original value, and recharges the P-Meter. Then you repeat as many times as necessary.
3: How to do the 1/1 swimming?
This one I'm not sure on; I never got far enough in my Second Reality Project Reloaded TAS to need to do it. Watching the published 12-exit SMW run, I'd guess you basically alternate on <and> every frame.

One of my favorite RPGs of all time; been following your WIPs pretty much since you started. I'm astonished at how badly you destroyed the game. Yes vote for sure.

Yes vote. I'm impressed that you were able to shave off as much as you did.

I think Tub has it right...using the X-Ray Scope for glitching through blocks (i.e. for the Gravity Chozo skip) is fine, but out-of-room travel (i.e. skipping Mother Brain) is not.

Looks excellent, definitely publishable quality. Hell, even your last full-game WIP would've been publishable had it not been for the extremely lengthy manipulation during The Profound Darkness.

Even considering its' shortness, there's just not enough going on here to be entertaining. Meh vote.

It is not possible to "convert" a movie created on one emulator with certain timing to a different emulator with different timing.
I was not aware that there was such a drastic difference between 1.43 and 1.51. There wasn't that much difference from FCEU to FCEUX, was there?

Only thing I can think of is there's a minimum level you have to be.

Personally, I'm more a fan of Concordat's Let's Play of the game.

Latest WIP looks good. Can't believe you're starting over AGAIN. This will make, what, four times you've basically run the whole game?

Disruptor was a pretty fun pre-dual-analog FPS.

K2WA-CA4J AWXT-CA4C RGSA-A6YY NTPT-CA50 I still have those memorized, ten-plus years since my Genesis kicked the bucket, because I used them every day for at least a whole summer.

I didn't take much time to figure out what exactly horizontal position underflow is...
It's when you zip off the left side of the level and come out the right side of the level. Examples from the current Nitsuja/Upthorn any%: Hydrocity 2, Marble Garden 2, Carnival Night 1, Launch Base 1, etc.

I've seen the majority of those videos as well; Doug Walker is a very enjoyable person to watch, and the Nostalgia Critic is my favorite of his characters. I especially like the bit towards the end of North. "YOU ACTUALLY WENT TO THE LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR AND MADE IT ALL A DREAM!? YOU ASS OF SHIT!"

You boost a small bit when you hit one of the buttons, and the run spams A and B back-to-back. Far as I know, you can't boost like you can in the normal sidescrolling levels.

I liked your full game WIP, but IMO you should have finished the Silver Soldier sidequest; you were most of the way there anyway.

That was a horizontal underflow? Certainly didn't look like it. I feel silly now.

@mmbossman: Which goal was violated and where do you see it? I've been following the WIPs since he started and haven't seen any violations, and definitely not a violation of the "no horizontal underflow" glitch. @upthorn: He uses wall-zips in Lava Reef 2, gets stuck in the floor at the end of Lava Reef 1 so he can zip to the right at the beginning of Lava Reef 2, and skips the Lava Reef boss. I don't believe any of those are violations of the goals.
