If the boss grabs you he changes his health based on what your current health is. If he grabs you when your health is the lowest possible without dieing from the grab it puts him to around 50%. If you are 100% when you get grabbed he would go to 100% also. Basically when he grabs you he copies your current health.
So as soon as the fight starts I made sure that I had the correct amount of hp to surive the hit, but put him as low as possible. It also took a while to force him to grab me quickly as I could manage (usually doesn't do the move very often, shielding up after hiting him once seemed to trigger it quick).
The timer is not supposed to be in seconds. Just a random number to indicate time remaining.
I would post the .smv, but the PSU on the pc I was doing this on broke and I haven't gotten around to fixing it yet (also the reason why the last level is still unfinised).
I think the main appeal of the run for me is managing to make the special attack as effective as possible, since it is limited in its use (it uses health). The first level is a bit of a special attack spam since I start with max hp and on the first level it kills in 1 hit, but later levels it forces me to use normal attacks alot more to weaken them for a special attack finisher. Its an amazing feeling when you manage to manipulate 4 enemys to line up for a special attack finish, which trust me can be VERY difficult sometimes.
Thanks for all the replies so far. Any more questions / suggestions are welcome :)
Hey again everyone, its been a while :P
Just gona post an update what I have done so far with this TAS.
On to the last level now and was interested to see what people think of this run so far.
Especially interested in any obvious time improvements that TAS vets can point out and general opinions on the game/run.
There are 5 parts at the moment (one for each level). Additional info is in the youtube description.
Part 1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78QuuR-YbyY
Playlist - http://www.youtube.com/user/Billybobjr#g/p
If any experienced member has time to review what I have so far that would be awesome.
Thanks for the input.
