Sorry... I had no idea, since they worked in that fashion on the other emulator anyway, but now, I know and it all works. In the meantime, BizHawk has been amazing in other ways. Completely awesome.

They work fine on the Gens emulator (of course, I had to place the bios files on that emulator), but there seems to be no way to place Sega CD bios files on BizHawk. Initially, I had assumed that they were already in the emulator, but apparently, they are not (since BizHawk does not recognize the ISO files, while on Gens, they are recognized). If they are not, then how do I place them in BizHawk? In any case, the Sega CD ISOs will not work on BizHawk, while they work on Gens.

Sorry for another late response, but the ROM file is 129Kb, but the movie still desyncs... I just don't know why...

That's all correct, but it still desyncs... The file size of the movie should be 129 kb? The file of the movie that is yours that I have download says it's 71 kb. Maybe this is why it'd desync...?

This is the USA version of the ROM? I'd downloaded your movie, and I have the USA version of the ROM, but the thing had desynced at about 10 seconds into it...weird.

This was quite an interesting run. I've always had fun with this game as a kid. I was thinking about making a speed run for this game, but I hadn't planned it out, so I've not made one. I'd enjoyed this speed run, and I do agree that the later levels are more fun to watch than the earlier levels.

I was about to make a video of this, yet, I sometimes believe that the game is too boring to watch, but I'll try it, now, anyway. I did enjoy the video and all of your dodging, as it makes the video look cool, in a way. As for me, for the video that I'm going to make of it (unless, someone beats me to it) is an aim for 100% kills, or close to it, while going at full speed. That's either going to be just as impressive, more impressive, or just as boring. We shall see... I'd used to play this game as a kid, and have beaten it for real, many times. I have always thought that the ending had sucked. So, why did I keep playing and beating it? It's a fun game to play. I can't play it anymore for real, since I don't have NES, but this is close enough. I'm going to make my video now, so check back in a few hours, since that's probably how long it'll take to make.

I'd voted Meh on it, because I would've liked to see it played at the hardest difficulty setting. Other than that, the combinations were pretty cool.

Well, I'd watched your video, and I was very unimpressed by it. I think that I'll make a video of one, right now. It'll be faster than this version, unless someone else submits theirs before mine, which is all right by me, because it can basically be improved by anyone, I believe. Unfortunately, I was just a little bored by the game, itself, and that can't be helped, because this is a badly converted version of the game.

1. It's for FCEU. 2. I didn't know that there was an FCEU board. 3. I didn't know that it was in the FAQ either. 4. Thanks for answering my question anyway.

I still don't know how to use it. It says to use the spacebar, I think...as it does say "space". If so, do I press the spacebar, many times or do I just hold down the spacebar? Can it be used while the game is being played in slow motion or does it have the game have to played while using fast forward or at normal speed? I don't even notice the frames advancing, which just makes me believe that they should be skipping. I'm probably wrong about that, but I just do not notice anything when I try to use it.

I'm kind of amazed that people have never heard of this game. As for me, I'd owned both games for the NES, and I still have them. As for your run, Ferret Warlord, it does need some more tweeking, but I did enjoy it, as I had fun playing this game when I was younger.

I've been making a new video for the game "Ninja Gaiden" (if it isn't accepted, then I'll just keep it for my own amusement), and it'd skipped a frame at 1:05, after watching some of it, so I'd thought that I needed to re-record from before that point, but I didn't. All that I had to do was load my last save point at 1:21, replayed my movie, and it was fine, as it had canelled out the skipped frame. Was this a feature that was put on the emulator, so that you didn't have to re-record before the skipping had happened?

I'm back from work, and now, I've done what you both have said, and I thank you. You 2 have made me realize about how to make the emulators work. Now, I have tried a tiny bit of both. A few more questions, and it's about FCE Ultra: Are there shortcut keys to press for quick saving and quick loading? If so, how can I configure them, if that feature is available? The second question is quite the same, but I wonder about the same thing for the use of slow motion. Where can it be found, can I use a shortcut key, and can I configure it to the setting that make it easier for myself?

1. I'd used to use Famtasia 5.1, but I'm now unable to, because I now have Windows XP. It always says that there's an error with it, whenever it goes through its Best Draw deal, then it asks me if I want to send a report of the error, and then it just closes. I'm never able to use it. Is there any way to fix this? Since it doesn't work, I'd downloaded FCE Ultra, but... 2. ...how do you make the FCE Ultra recording feature work? I'd downloaded the both RAR files, but they show the icons that mean that they have to be opened by using some type of file. Right now, they're in the FCE Ultra folder. Playing games on the regular (non-recording) emulator is fine, but I want to record some games using FCE Ultra just to try it out, and find out what the hype is all about. I'm also unable to watch the movies, since it's the regular emulator, obviously.

I do understand that REV just means a version that's fixed the bugs and, as far as I've heard [B] just means Beta, but I'm not sure. I'm still wondering what [p], [h1] through [h3] (or higher) means... Are the newer versions the ones with the single letters at the end or are they just test versions?

Now, I'm back, again. As for the NBA Jam video, now...I have just stopped trying to make one, because the video is desyncing way too much. It's now desyning for every time that I make a slam dunk (yes, I'm a very patient person, but you'd have to admit that even this is a little overboard).

I am trying to speed along with my NBA Jam video. I'm actually going to make 2 of them. One that is pure speed (steal and slam dunk to see how many points I can make), the other will also be for speed, but it will have style, which will not be as fast as the pure speed video (you'll see it, when it's posted, or I might post both), but up to you guys if you really like it. I've also tried other games, and had seen if that stupid glitch happens (checked off slow motion, when it's not in slow motion at all), and it has happened in all of the other games, as I'd figured it would. I'd played beyond that point for a tiny bit, then I'd watch my videos (I was still trying to be perfect in the testing of these video, but I'd wanted to see if it would desync), and it did desync on all of them at the exact point that the checked off slow motion would stay on, even when it wasn't (I have been using the quick key). So, this is something that needs to be fixed. Obviously, try it out yourself, Jyzero, (maybe you could fix this problem) as well as others. It should happen to all of you (it won't happen all of the time). Either that's a problem that causes the desyncing (which is, obviously, what I've concluded), or just has happened to me, which would be quite surprising.

Well, I'd tried it without the DAC sound chip on. Obviously, some sounds go away (I'd recorded NBA Jam). Unfortunately, it did skip, but it was much further on in the recording, instead of happening right away, so that's good, but I think that I might have figured out why it's been skipping (I'd even seen it skip, while I was recording). I'd put the game on slow motion so that I could steal the ball, and make a slam dunk, as usual, but what I had done at some points is turn off slow motion while it was still recording (not a problem, you believe), but...when I turn slow motion back on, the recording game pauses, so I'd press it again and it'd go back to normal speed (so that I'd be able to press it again to have it go back in slow motion). What I'd noticed, from then on, is when I'd change it to normal speed, slow motion would still be checked off, as if Gens 9a had thought that it was still on, when it really wasn't. It'd still work like normal, but some of the time, when playing on normal speed, slow motion would be checked, as I'd just previously stated. If anyone else has noticed this happening, then inform me, because if it's happening to others, then it might be a good idea to fix this for the next version that could be released.

I'd just gotten back from work, so I shall now answer the questions. To FODA: I'd just bought a new computer about 2 weeks ago, and it's top of the line, so it's not slow. To Truncated: I'd said that if it's something completely unavoidable (like with the MK 2 video that I'm creating while fighting Jax as Sub-Zero, and he avoids every attack), or if I believe that the level that I'd completed is not what I prefer, after watching it, then I'll use Save Slot 0. To Jyzero: I have my sound enabled, my sound rate is 44hz, it's stereo, and I have all of my sound chips enabled, even DAC. So, I shall now try it without the DAC sound enabled (I don't know what that means...) Also, I don't quite understand how the sound chips can effect the video frame skipping...it just doesn't make sense. Are you able to explain it?

To answer the question: no, I do not pause and save or quickpause. I just do a quicksave, and that's it. You're correct, I didn't keep the save state. Here's what I do for Gens 9a (since this is rarely a problem with Famtasia)... I quicksave using Save Slot 0 at the beginning of a level, then I'll instantly switch to Save Slot 1 and quicksave. I quickload Save Slot 1 for mistakes, but if it's something unavoidable and/or I believe my attempt at the level is not really what I prefer, I'll switch to Save Slot 0 and quickload. If I'm doing something completely wrong, and need to change my strategy in quicksaving and quickloading, please tell me. If it's true that I'm not supposed to load Save Slot 0, after loading Save Slot 1, then what am I supposed to do? I can't just start over the whole game with just one Save Slot. If I use the save slots that are after 0, then I'll end up running out of them, since there are only 10.

Well, after playing the first quarter of the Genesis ROM "NBA Jam", I'd decided to watch my video. I'd found out that it'd desynced after the first slam dunk that I'd made--that was when I'd done a quick save. So, apparently, even doing a quick save can desync a video. This very annoying, as well as frusturating.
