One thing that would be interesting is to see what does the computer do when its sixth reincarnation goes bankrupt. There are six computer players: growler, charger, crusher, terminator, smasher and viper.

I recall there was a discussion which concluded that Top Gun is a bad choice for a timeattack... Maybe using the search wouldn't be a bad idea. Edit: I can't find it though :(

I liked your choices in 4-3 - you chose a few non-obvious routes. Non-obviousness is exactly what makes these movies cool :) The 4-4 trick was very clever too.

In November 2004 - The pages of the Nesvideos site were loaded about 200000 times, creating about 1.8 GB of traffic. - Hourly, most activity happens at 18 EET (average 1827 hits per hour) and least activity happens at 12 EET (average 998 hits per hour). - Globally on my webserver, there were 1089128 hits, 6.5 GB of traffic, with average of 1512 hits per hour. - On the image server, there was 7.6 GB of traffic, which is a sum of 2.9M hits. - Saturdays were silent days. 626k users of MSIE 6, 324k users of Mozilla. I have no problem with wobbling at all aside from Actraiser (as it moves the screen rapidly). I believe Bisqwit himself advises people to always look like they're doing something, even when they're not, and I would agree with him.
Doing something *that makes sense*. Wobbling doesn't. I nearly hate it.

The tractor pulling and hill and such scenes were quite obvious - as expected (thus, nothing interesting, although nothing bad). The overhead levels were boring. There was nothing impressive or interesting in them. There was no goal, and there was absolutely no "wow" in them. Therefore, I vote "no".

Hmm... this game should apparently be encoded using the -y option (scaling), because the ending uses the double precision display mode. Otherwise the texts appear distorted.

Hmm... some little graphics glitching in the Dhaos castle in third part. 'guess it's a bug in the DeJap patch.

If someone wants to become a manager to upload our movies to the SpeedRun section of archive.org, it'd be great. Links to archive.org could be added to the movie pages. I just do not have time for that kind of maintenance work. This option was offered to us already in April 2004 - reference: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=12400#12400

The battle against Demitel's trees was quite impressive. Against Demitel, I think it would be a good idea to disable Klarth temporarily because Cless did seemed to damage faster by himself with Demitel cornered. Your reactions to the dialog when talking to Alvanista's king was somewhat slow. In Alvanista castle, why did you talk to the person who said 'Spirits? All I know is the Water Spirit, [...] Does that help you at all?' ? Also, sometimes in shops it seemed like you shuffled the list up and down. What was this for? Why not do it in one straight sequence? Battle against Gnome was very impressive too. You held them effectively very tame.

Wow, I had completely forgot that the sanctuary where Dhaos was locked in has the Retaliation music theme. I thought it's only in Ifrit's place. It's very cool. I wonder how are the voice samples going to work when I record the actual submission as AVI... snes9x generally has had some problems with the voices (most notoriously the intro song, which sometimes chops and plays small pieces as noise). The intro song will not be heard, but the introduction scene has sampled speech.

As little as it matters coming from me, I think this one deserves a star as well.
I was already considering it for the previous one, so this one gets it certainly. The previous movie was the first Super Metroid movie that looked interesting to me. :)

While this alexpenev's movie may prove useful for a strategical base, it can not be accepted as a submission. Read the Rules.
Do not use fan-translations - translators don't want you to use obsolete versions and we prefer non-hacked games.
Also, the Japanese version is faster because of various technical reasons.

It was ok. :) In both cases, I assumed you said「お楽しみにして下さい。」, "I hope you enjoy this movie". Thank you. I'll reply to your private message too.

Cool, now make an AVI of it. :)
