Did you also improve the points complained about in Wodball's movie?

What is it with you and ninjas???
I may have watched Naruto quite much. When I was planning the publication of the Rockman movie, I remembered the phrase "ninjas need to think beyond normal" from Naruto, and I thought it's very fitting.

According to my experience, muting the sound makes desyncs likely.

Actually, they are the same length. I just accidently forgot to include level 30. Anyway, mine has 2 bosses, yours has 3. You could reduce it to 2 by doing 42 instead of 25. I'm not sure if you did on purpose. Boss levels usually take a while. Did you want to have an extra boss level?
I don't know what do the bosses in this game look like.

Bisqwit should mark bosses on his map. Anyway, I looked at routes for a long run, and I'm thinking this one: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,14,15,16,17,33,37.38.41.42,26.31.46.47.48,56,57
Done, and I also marked a longer path than that.

Hmmm... With SNES, isn't it as easy as using Snes9x' built in avi maker?
It's unfortunately bound tightly to the Win32 API - it will only work in Windows. But less unfortunately I don't need it anyway.

Your answer will be at http://tasvideos.org/HowToMakeAVI.html when it's written. It's not written yet. Sorry about that. Yes, all ROM download links are forbidden here.

I'll probably continue to do that too.

Officially, is it "Rock Man" or "Rockman"? I've always thought of "Mega Man" as two but that could be wrong too.
I prefer "Rockman" and "Mega Man". And after getting used to Rokkuman by acclimation to a certain anime, I prefer Rockman over Mega Man.

I like this movie. And the little I see in this movie, I like the game as well. I'd like to see more of it. Is there a possibility someone would make a play-all-maps movie? I suppose this movie takes some radical shortcuts.

I don't know what software you use for editing the site (and telling me wouldn't help, because I don't know any of those software), but talking in HTML code, where your website has this kind of
<img src="images/home_off.gif" name="home" width="107" height="53" border="0">
There should be:
<img src="images/home_off.gif" alt="Home" name="home" width="107" height="53" border="0">
Similar for all other images, denoted by "<img". And yes, I use one text-based browser (Lynx) once in a while because it's light and it's not infected by those lag-inducing flash-advertisements found on way too many sites.

I read that there's going to be a new rockman 2 run. I have limited knowledge of this series, but I've watched the rockman 2 video a few times and there's a couple things I think that could be improved.
Your intuition is good. I'll comment on the things you mentioned. 1. I see that your doing airman when you have platforms, I thought that part were get on the clouds guys would be worth having platforms for more than some other levels. True. This will be done in the movie. For extra fun, try it yourself: it's amazingly hard to get the third item1 on a good position. It will be done in a manner somewhat like this: http://tasvideos.org/jp-mm2/airman77.mpg (rightclick, select "save as") 2. There was at least one part where the game lagged a bit, killing the enemies might have made this part by faster. Can you tell where this happened? I believe it's taken care of, but I'd like to check. 3. When Heatman is fought for the 2nd time, I believe he was killed as fast as possible, but I don't think his room was exited from as fast as possible. Since Heatman travels faster than rockman it would seem it would be faster to kill heatman while he is on the left side of the room. I think this hasn't been planned yet. I can forward your note. 4. When fighting Dr. Wily in his final form I think with using platforms you might be able to kill him faster. Platforms are not weapons. In Rockman2, you can't shoot while using the Items.

Since this is off-topic... I had a look at your site. Aside from the fact that the menu item images don't have ALT parameters (this makes your site unusable for people who prefer/have to use a browser that can not render images), and that it doesn't appear to have anything that'd interest me, it looks quite nice.

If you already know mistakes in your video and you intend to create a new version, PLEASE at least STATE SO in the submission entry so the movie managers don't have to waste time doing useless work processing a movie that will be obsoleted right away.

I think the speed is the major thing that makes the movie entertaining, so you should never slow down just to be fancy.
When I make movies and when I watch movies, I tend to forgive a slowness of a few frames if you get a cool stunt in the exchange. However when I compare competing entries in the submission list, I don't have time to watch all of them, so I only compare the time and do the decision based on that.

This game is unknown to me, but it reminds me of... say, Shatterhand. I see some little delays in WalkerBoh's movie, but they're really few, and the first Batman submission had a few too. Not knowing this game beforehand means also that I don't know what's supposed to be impressive in this movie. Light please?

A non-Mega Man question but sort of related to this. How do you (or is it David Wonn alone?) "invent" those glitches? Would they work for every game? How to know where and how to try? I mean, it would be cool to have some glitch-skills or something. I have tried left + right in almost every game I have done a time attack on but mostly nothing happens.. Besides from that easy glitch, how to invent the hard ones?
