Throw a rock, while it's in the air RBA bombs and cojiro, get bomb drop from landing rock (this has to be tried out, if it's actually possible. If not the bugs have to be gotten on the previous trip to Kakariko) Slide to Lost Woods through Hyrule field, pressure jump
Yeah this is possible. It worked out beautifully in the old USA WIP. And although unimportant, I'll add that we no longer pressure jump. Now we superflip onto the lower part of the rope ^_^. Saves a bit of time and looks slick.

As expected, a genius run from a genius TASer. And wow, I actually didn't bother skipping most of the cutscenes due to how short they are now. japrom4evar

Yup, that was pretty incredible. Somehow even moreso than I had hoped. Amazing work, a solid hour of ineffable entertainment. I lol'd at ISGing the guard in Pirate's Fortress XD

Yeah, I'd say less text makes a TAS more enjoyable. Also, the sound of sub-50 is pretty appealing.

Regarding the copied input thing, I just skimmed through it and noticed only a couple of areas where I can be sure it was directly copied: DMT up until after the seamwalk, Gerudo Valley bridge flip (shame--that was a ton of work =[), and a couple of area entrances that aren't worth mentioning. Anyhow, I've been working on an improvement any%, and this time it's on the Jap ROM. I'll have a WIP posted fairly soon.

Not lately. I have an improved WIP in the making, but I've other priorities at the moment. If I make the plan to finish it I'll post.

There are a few known time savers for the any% run. I started an improvement at one point but I haven't worked on it for a while--I may finish it eventually, we'll see. If I do decide to complete it it wouldn't be too long from now.

:O Thanks people for voting me for N64 TAS and TASer of the year! I'm glad the run was enjoyed. There may be an improved submission this year. Anyhow, I voted for the SM64 0-star and Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

Wow that was fucking awesome. My favorite parts were the DDD skip and DDD to BitS. Both left me speechless

I also found the commentary very funny and entertaining. Only thing I'd say that could make it slightly better is describing certain tricks more like the pole climbing glitch (like CX gamer said). Besides that the approach was awesome and the jokes were funny

So awesome. Best idea for a TAS ever... obvious yes vote. I agree that there should be an encode that takes out the Super Sonic music and the flashing whenever you use the spindash

Entertaining and fast run but I voted no for the same reason that I'd much rather see an all track run than a bunch of miniature runs

Awesome thinking, never thought of that. You'd definitely have to throw it

I'll definitely still be glitch hunting and looking for improvements. The peahat slide and poe slide to Kakariko can be improved due to the finding of the analogue slide. There will definitely be more findings in the future. A Light arrows skip would be awesome but that seems unlikely atm

in the submission did you fix the potion shop thing too? ZFG noticed it is faster to pull the mushroom twice than it is to wait for the text to disappear.
Nope =\ that's way too far back to fix.

Ganon fight was improved thanks to CosmoZSR mentioning a mistake
Apropros improvement in Ganon fight. Are you sure it ouldn't be faster to superslide to the Master Sword? (and maybe even SS back to Ganon)
No unfortunately :\, cutscenes are too long and bomb explodes during them

Those suggestions are all awesome but unfortunately none are possible :( In the Lost Woods you can't flip over any part of the railing, you have to either clip off of it like I did or land on it and wait for a couple of seconds while Link lays there and stands up. You could land on the railing, get up, sideroll, then superflip towards the ladder but that's slower During cutscenes, bombs still detonate, and the two Ganon scenes are too long so the bomb goes off before the scene ends I messed around with acute angles during the escape scene for a long time and none of them worked :(. I also couldn't find any walls with seams that can be backflipped through

Thanks everyone for the compliments! Personman: Nice screenshots, thanks for the suggestions :D I also came up with a bunch (11) of screenshot ideas myself. I can't decide which one I like the most though. If anyone would like to look at them and tell me which one(s) they like the most that would be greatly appreciated. Any other screenshot suggestions would be nice too. http://www.mediafire.com/?nhg13jl9i2ocrdu My favorites are 1, 5, 7, 8, 9, and 10

Well done run with a couple of interesting parts, but the goal is too boring and similar to the "any%" to open a new category IMO, so voting no. How about a full game run that kills every enemy and gets every box/coin?? :D:D
