Seems like a lot of effort was put into this. Very entertaining, especially the Big Yacopu parts. Yes vote

Well this game is weird, but makes a very entertaining TAS. Definite yes vote. Ladder climb at 1:50 FTW

No I don't have the m64s anymore =\ but I may make a comparison video of the routes from LW to the potion shop (via Goron City or Hyrule Field) anyway. That sounds like a pretty neat idea. Oh and on another note: AKA and I had initially began the run as coauthors, but now for various reasons I'll be the sole author.

Yeah stuff involving manipulation you can't hex in, but you can still hex in everything before it, redo the parts involving manipulation, and then continue hexing in the stuff after it. Since lag during transitions varies it can sometimes be a pain though

There are only a couple of parts where this will save time so I'm just going to go back, add them in and hex back rest. Petrie: Nope just tested it :(, he falls off

=D Yeah I'll be going back a little bit and adding it in a few parts where it would save a bit of time. And for the rest of the run I'll use it where it can replace a Z slide, just because it looks better

XD Progress is coming along awesomely. We're pretty far in the adult section and working at it consistently. It's still expected to be done before the end of the summer :D

XD Agreed that the game can be relatively boring at parts, especially if you aren't familiar with it, although there are a lot of sections that would be pretty cool to see how quickly they could be done. The game also has potential for sequence breaks within each level. I won't be doing a run of this game but I recall people wanting to see it TASed, I'd personally love seeing this game done eventually

There's a trophy in the game that you can get to appear but you can't pick it up :\. I agree with Mysterypea in that it should still be considered "100%' since you're collecting everything that's obtainable

Pretty awesome idea, but from my knowledge there are no seams or walls on the tower that you can backflip through :\. I'll run around though and make sure

This game could actually make a pretty entertaining TAS. I'm not sure if there are any major glitches found since there are no speedruns for this game (surprisingly) but I'm sure some could be discovered. I won't be doing a full-game run of this but I TASed a couple of levels to see how it would look: "Smashing Start" (level 1): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9V3ros_xFng "Hoppa Choppa" (5th snow level): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccA-EKxII6c

Seems to me like the real immaturity of this comes from you guys trying so hard to ridicule Brian until he gets fed up and gives an m64. He has no obligation to show you the m64 and I highly doubt trying to make a public ass of him will make him give you it >_>. On the other hand, it was pretty lame of him to even mention the frame if he wasn't going to share how it's saved. But please don't make such a huge whiny debate about one frame >_<.. solve it humbly and maturely and nobody has to make an ass of anybody

Spider Waffle: I messed around with that acute angle for a while along with some other possibilities for skips in Ganon's Castle with out any success :\

^ Yeah, in order to get Ganon to the stage of delivering the final blow you need the Master Sword :\. With any other weapon you just keep hitting him endlessly

that's some of the best 5 minuts of TASing I've seen in a long time. I was wondering if it'd be faster to drop from the cucos sooner the two times you were gliding with them over another cocu you needed to collect? Is is not because after you hit the cuco it will only go a certain distance? If that's the case I guess it would matter much, you still might be able to get them to a little bit further with their random walking after they run the straight line. Another tiny time saver I was thinking of was taking a slightly different route before the forest escape to alert the nut shooter faster, since it doesn't matter how fast you get in position to hover but rather how fast you alert the nut shooter since you need to wait on him.
Thanks :D. AKA did a ton of tests involving cucco manipulation and it basically just turned out that gliding a bit further was slightly faster since the cucco would end up that much closer to the pen after slashing it. And in Lost Woods the scrub hides in the ground unless you're in that near left corner... it comes up as soon as possible in the WIP =\

I noticed that the sword was only really used for the forest escape, and the shield was only used for the hyrule field superslide. I know the deku stick forest escape is much slower, but i figured that the time saved by not collecting rupees/sword/shield would make up for the difference, plus some.
Whether or not we should get the shield was discussion for a while but it came out a bit quicker to obtain the shield + old forest escape. And yeah haha the 112k rerecords is a mixture of this WIP's, last WIP's, and the WIP before that's rerecords. We figured it would make sense to add them up since each WIP was a contributor
