I also think a 100% run would just be more of the same, but I could be wrong. Feel free to improve the any% run, though, I think at least the first level can be optimized some more (I wasn't as familiar with the game then as when I did the later levels).

I love those laws that make absolutely no sense whatsoever, like "you cannot eat a doughnut and walk backwards on a city street." My friend's father wanted to put a pool in the back yard of their house, but the local historical society said they wouldn't allow it, even if it was fenced in. His father said that since the only change they would allow was to change the color of the house, he would paint the whole thing in polka dots if they didn't let him put in the pool.
Well?? How'd it go?

Wow, that's actually in the law there? That's awesome. So it's actually illegal to be a fortune teller, medium, feng shui consultant, homeopathy promoter, or any of that dumb stuff. Fantastic. :D

Not to mention it would clash and look poorly on older systems (like NES). NES's megaman's graphics and animation style compliment each other. And SNES Megaman X's graphics and animation style compliment each other. Ripping one away from the other and mixing them up would look really crappy and awkward. Imagine MMX graphics with MM's 3 frame walking animation -- it would look stupid.
I think this is all that needs to be said. So why am I posting it again?

Even of you could, the Wii itself will only accept "one" input, so if you "pressed the button 60 times a second", the Wii would think the button was just being held down. (assuming the Wii accepts 60 inputs/s.) Likewise, if you moved the controller in opposite directions, the Wii would likely just think it wasn't being moved at all. Unless each direction is a seperate input "channel" (whatever the term is), that is, which seems highly unlikely to me.

I have no intention to do it, I'm disgusted that there are people doing it at all.
I completely understand, I'm also disgusted that there are people that drink other people's vomit, their blood, even fecal matter, etc. I will spare you some of the disgusting details.

You're right, I should have read the post better, I just assumed it was km/s instead of km/h. My bad. 999,999,999 km/h is 277,777 km/s. c is 299,792 km/s So yeah, it is a little bit slower than the speed of light.

Gah, stop regurgitating stuff from old webpages. Rather talk about interesting stupid laws that might possibly have some relevance to anything at all.

Imagine, though, real Wii TAS. You would move the controller at 999,999,999 km/h. BOOM!
I'd imagine some sort of limit would have to be coded into the emulator. I think c would just about do it, even though it is theoretically impossible to move the controller that fast without transforming it into light particles first (or something). Actually, I don't think it would help to move it faster than a certain speed anyway since all games would probably be maxed out at anything you could possibly want to do long before that. Although, this brings up an interesting question. Since we can do left/right and up/down on the traditional controllers, would it be allowed to "hack" the Wii controller to give input not normally possible on an "unmodified" one? Maybe by hacking the accleerometers in it, we could virtually virtually gain speeds "beyond" c. But like I said, it would probably not matter since max speed could probably be gained pretty easily with the normal method.

This is what supposedly happens to every new medium. Books were supposed to teach people to kill, then TV was spoiling our youth, now computer games are the tool of the devil. Don't worry, things will be OK in a generation or two. In the meantime, it's perfectly idiotic to put someone in jail for selling a videogame, no matter what the circumstances are.

Well, just because it's allowed, doesn't mean you should do it, or even think about it. I mean, I'm pretty sure it's perfectly legal to drink someone else's vomit. As long as we're talking about stupid laws. In my country, porn is still technically illegal, although no one cares. Also, it is actually illegal to blaspheme here, though most intelligent people don't give a crap about that.

"Shoe" is the new profanity word, and it's offensive-avatar-day for me, every day. It began on some board long ago and I have used it ever since. Here's an image I made with that program. I also discovered a bug. If you press up/down/left/right to move something, it actually moves the next item on the list (for example, if you try to move the nose, you actually move the mouth instead).

Provide more information please. Maybe something like this: For those who want to know, the jump is in 4-3 and I can't see how it could be done without running.

Why choose between games, when you can have both? i like them both. Edit: By the way, this thread is about F-Zero X, not MK64, so make a new thread about MK64 if you have something to say about that game. *watches new movie* Whaaaaaaaaaaat????

What a great suprise. This will be a treat. *watches* Holy crap, those blue darknut rooms are awesome. Two bombs and they're toast. :D Walking through blocks is also awesome. This TAS is extremely well done. Each room is completed with stupendous accuracy. I am definitely going to vote yes on this submission, even though it's pretty obvious it will be published.

Although I would like to get excited, something tells me the game won't be released until at least 3 years from now, probably more. :/ I watched the hi-rez teaser. I didn't know marines were made like that.... or maybe that was a special super marine of some kind..? Oh well, cool I guess.

I'm so glad the game has these checkpoints, because that means you have to (sort of) drive over the whole track. Otherwise, each track would just be completed in 5 seconds and it wouldn't be very fun. This could become the most insanely fast TAS ever made. Awesome stuff!

That video was very cool, even though it was just a straight and basic track. Can't wait to see more. :D

Wow. It's hard to believe this was actually done. But it appears to be true. This is truly amazing. Please forgive me, though, for waiting for the avi to be released...

Someone already did Fester's Quest. It was super duper boring to watch. I've been working sporadically on Kickle Cubicle. I am about halfway done with world 3. Haven't progressed for a long while now, though. I'm also planning to do Super Robin Hood eventually. It's one of the games on "Quattro Adventure".

Why? It seems like lots of work for a completely superfluous feature.

Holy crap. That was infraggletasticredible. Can't wait to see more. Would be nice if someone could explain why TT is "better" than GP, though.
