Yeah, of course. So actually, you'd only need to cross the other, slightly easier (but still probably impossible), gap. edit: Wow, I was somehow able to miss Fihlvein's post that he was really able to make the jump. But his movie link isn't working. I'm going to PM him and ask him about it. (I'm way too lazy to try it myself)

Well, it's a start. That's a very nice trick. If it is really possible to skip Shades with PAL emulation on (which I doubt, I tried many times) then we're getting there. I wonder what happens if you could get Shades' secret weapon without Shades. It would require some super secret glitch to do that, though. (that jump really does require Shades, even with PAL emulation off)

I know absolutely nothing about the Finnish language, but what I've heard leads me to believe it probably IS the hardest language you could learn. (well, maybe Ithkuil, its creator can't even speak it fluently and that probably says something) I don't know enough English to talk about Icelandic in English, so forget about it. All I know is that it is not as complex as Finnish (or so I have heard) and yet it is almost impossible to grasp the grammar, even native speakers often have trouble with it.

I like how it totally messes with the shape of the boss room, screwing up the rat's behavior. It just runs helplessly back and forth. Awesome. :D I have some hope that some day, someone will find a way to glitch into any wall. Now, that would be a glitchfest worth seeing. :D

That's also what I thought the first time I watched it. Then I watched it again and enjoyed it a lot. It's a good movie, but not for everyone. Actually, the first time I "watched" it, I quit watching about 1/3rd of the way through, so that probably doesn't count.

Thanks. :) Yeah I used "fceu-0.98.15-rerecording". I would like to use some version called "fceu-luke" but it desyncs even before pressing start at the beginning so I would have to redo everything. I will probably do it eventually anyway, but I'd like to see if I can finish this run first. (or it will *never* be finished) Remember though, it's not always the absolute "shortest" path that is the fastest. For example, ice blocks should usually be pushed as early as possible because it takes a while for them to make a new piece of land (you can't walk on it right away). ESPECIALLY if the block has to hit a spring before reaching its destination. I'm sure not every level is absolutely optimal and if you find something, let me know. (I probably won't redo anything more than maybe 2-3 levels until the next version.) The world 2 boss battle could also probably be improved maybe 30-40 frames with some uber manipulation. Edit: yeah, and of course some better enemy manipulation would help in a lot of cases. For example in one level, a clown pushed a bag a little bit away so I had to walk further to collect it. If that could be avoided, it could save some time. There are other places.

First 2 worlds done. It's just starting to get slightly tricky. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/2206/KickleCubicle_U_world1and2.fcm

Got any recipes? Besides the "pour vodka into glass, drink" variety?

You probably don't like the taste of hops, since it's quite bitter. If you want to acquire a taste for beer, you should cut your chops on something that doesn't taste strongly of hops, like Doq Equis Amber.
If it's available in my country, I'll try it and post on this thread how it goes. It'll probably be at least a month before that happens, though. :P I'm just giving up with beer. Aside from that ONE suggestion by Xebra. If I don't like that, I'm never buying another beer again. Ever. I'm drinking this strange concoction called "Tinto Verano" and it's pretty decent, I think. Even though it was pretty much the cheapest thing in the liquor store besides beer, it is still 10000% better than beer. Fuck beer. I'm giving up with it. What a stupid drink. :P Bleeech.

What is it about beer that everyone seems to like? I'm trying to drink this stuff, but I can't enjoy it. I have tried various different kinds of beer, but they all have the same basically foul taste. Supposedly, it is an aquired taste, but I've drunk lots of this stuff on many occasions but I never seem to start liking it any more. At least olives (another aquired taste) have an intriquing taste and don't cause you to almost vomit. Yuck. The ONLY positive thing about beer is the alcohol, which I can get from drinks that actually taste good. So I guess this topic is about beer. Post your beer experiences and stuff. (edit: or anything alcohol-related, for that matter)

I don't like it at all. It's all crammed together and looks cluttered. There's too much information in too little space. The old way was much better. I also have a minimum font size which is slightly bigger than the default on this site, which makes it look ultra-cluttered for me, even in a high resolution. (I use 1152*864) Just look at this beast: http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/2043/asdfoc2.png

I find this hilarious, and I have not watched the movie or even played the game. Talk about "0wn4ge", indeed.

I might get back to it some day. No promises, though. I have to finish mapping Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy (NES) (580 KB image file), then make a TAS of it (or probably the Aladdin cart version because Dizzy walks much faster in that version). A small problem with my Kickle Cubicle movie is that the first level has already been improved by something like 4 frames. :P I'm not sure if I would redo the whole movie (hexing it won't work, feel free to try) or just continue from where I'm already at. Edit: I've been working on this movie again and I've already done 7 more levels ... they were all extremely straightforward (hardly had to think about route) but I think I have regained intrest in this.

You're not doing any whiplash-walking, which would save lots of time. And I already made a movie of world 1 that is 3246 frames faster than yours (before fighting the boss). :D

ALttP Link would "owz0r" everyone else with his awesome medallion magic. If he runs out of magic, he'd just use the magic mirror to escape into the Dark Realm and refill. Or take the other Links there and kill them while they are turned into various fluffy animals. The end.

Is that supposed to be a good thing? Meh, there's something about CG Yoda that doesn't feel right. To me, at least.

Is it just me, or does the amount of spam on "Off topic" increase expotentially? Oh, and .. uh. Good luck, and stuff. And if you ever see a tiger, don't feed it your hand.

Very nice run, it looks like you put a lot of thought and effort into it. But ... (!) , the game looks extremely boring and stupid to me and I didn't find the movie to be very entertaining. I guess you need to have played the game to find this movie interesting. Voted "meh".

He says "Tiger ... uppercut" when he does the move. Which does not sound even remotely like "tiger ... Robocop" to me. The only similarity between "uppercut" and "Robocop" is that the number of syllables is the same. :P
