I don't know, but I would love a speedrun of that game. Maybe this game has that dreaded sound problem.

I gave it a listen and I like it, thanks. Too bad their mp3 downloads suck (only a part of the songs can be downloaded). :(

But which media player is the one that lets you change the speed of the movie? I like doing that.
That would be Media Player Classic. Hold down CTRL and press the up and down arrow keys. Or go to the Play menu and select increase/decrease rate.

There's also Media Player Classic. It can play most files, and if you have RealCrappyPlayer installed it can play those files as well, same with Quicktime movies. Actually you can just install them and then cripple them (delete all files except dll files so they can't possibly run). Also, MPlayer is available on Windows. Get it here. It is supposed to play anything. Also, I don't recomment codec packs. I once installed one and later that day the entire operating system went straight to hell (had to reinstall) Granted, it would have happened eventually (what with broken windows and all) but I blame it on the codec pack. Just use GSpot to determine what specific codec you need and then go look for just that codec.

I think it might also have to do with how we read from left to right. It just 'feels' more natural. (Yes, I'm aware not the entire world reads like that.)

Wow, you got platinum for the moon. I remember that level being a huge pain in the ass to complete because of the low gravity and tiny objects. Let alone getting a platinum. Nice. :) Edit: I just re-played the game, andit turns out I have more platinums than I thought. I now have 11 of them, but I'm going to get more. The game is so much fun, I'm now hooked on it again. Edit: 14 platinums, woohoo!

Hey, I noticed SDA now has a video of all the levels of BlastCorps being completed very fast. All the times are very impressive and lower than required for platinum. Some levels are even WAY under the time required to get platinum. Check it out here: http://www.planetquake.com/sda/other/BlastCorps.html

Well, FINALLY they came. IT SURE TOOK SOME TIME! Holy shit. Well, one of them works like a charm with no problems whatsoever, but the other one is a little quirky. The D-pad 'works' but you have to press harder than you'd think to press the 'right' direction on it. So either the control board inside the controller is damaged (doubtful) or it wasn't properly screwed together. Well, it was properly screwed together but it's just so hard to put it in place so that it works absolutely perfect. D-pads are a very delecate thing. Anyway I managed to fix it myself and it is now pretty good though it is still a little tiny bit stiff. But it's OK, it's still lightyears ahead of using a keyboard and I'm not going to send one back (it would be the biggest hassle ever and would end up costing at least the controller in shipping fees and toll). Overall, this was VERY expensive but I think it was worth it. After all, it's only money. There's simply nothing that can beat playing Super Mario World and other games again with a real SNES controller.

Wait a minute, is this a cleverly disguised spam thread?

Wow, that was strange. Too bad the levels themselves aren't backwards. It would have been really interesting if you'd start right at the end of the last level and go backwards through the game...

I don't have a witty comment so I'll just post this instead. Just pretend I said something clever and funny.

Yeah, it's right here. Although the thread I link to isn't about do-it-yourself controllers, they do sell do-it-yourself kits there also (and actually, those kits are used in the article you link to as well).

Too bad there's not much that can be done since with the legal system in the USA, whoever has more money will win any one of those types of lawsuits. At least that's what I understand, maybe there is a shred of justice but I haven't heard of it yet.

Yeah, I've seen this before. It's the dreaded RIAA-MPAA robot that scours the internet looking for file names that loosely resemble movie and music names. People have gotten these letters because of hosting small 12k files with the letter X in the file name (because obviously, they were episodes of X-Files). Actually I have no idea what to do over this. Perhaps you could submit a story to Slashdot, I know they'd be all over this. I think these letters can probably be ignored.

I'd personally prefer seeing a Lost Vikings 1 timeattack (first) since I haven't played 2, but I guess it's all good. 2-player would be even more awesome and much much faster.

Taking a quick look, I see that the hotkey reassignent feature is really good. I was only expecting reassigning of save and load but it looks like you can now reassign every single thing ever (power, reset, change to whatever save slot, mute sound, save, load, etc, etc). This version is amazing ... blip, you're awesome!

Ooh nice, downloading now. Is it okay to post the text here so not everyone will have to download it?

Yeah. I think you really need to know Japanese to enjoy that properly though, since it's filled with jokes like that.

The only thing I know in Japanese is that "chestnuts and squirrels" can come out as "clitoris" ... sorry, I just had to mention this here.

Yeah, I usually leave a website immediately when I hear there's a midi tune on it. Ever tried listening to two songs at the same time? Actually I'm not even sure if I'm allowing my browser to play midi tunes now since I haven't heard anything in a long, long time...

Yeah, I think Super Smash TV will be awesome to watch if it's done properly, with 100% accuracy and ridiculus weaving in-between enemies, etc. Preferably with 2 players. By the way, did anyone ever play "Pugsley's Scavenger Hunt"?
