There was already a discussion on starmen.net a long time ago about the morse code thing, and I think the conclusion was that it was nonsense.

Weird. This is getting off topic, though.

Of course! I was surprised by this getting done so quickly. (or so it seemed.) By the way, why didn't you smash the pogo punk?

No, I haven't, but that section you linked to seems about as utopian as you can get. Of the working population of the earth, how many people do you think (a) actually like what they're doing and (b) wouldn't voluntarily accept more money for what they're doing? Using the definition given on that page, and the statistics that I've seen about the questions just listed, it would appear that most working people are in a situation of slavery.
You completely misunderstood it. (a) Everyone who works voluntarily prefers working to not working, otherwise they wouldn't be doing it. (b) They are working for what they would voluntarilly accept, not less (technically they would accept more, but that's obviously not what it meant.)

Is there something wrong with that?

Would they be forced to sign the contract, though?

Okay; I signed. But wait, what does this have to do with "political prisoners"? Don't most germanic states have conscription? FODA: The US empire is currently being run by hired soldiers, so I really don't think that conscription is necessary.

I didn't sign because it feels too weird putting an american address on a finnish petition. I completely agree with you, though.

Probably B, since since you'll probably just be magic spamming all future bosses, it might be good to make this a no death run.

I think the question was whether the former's drop could be manipulated (easily enough).

I say no. If this is a minimalist run, I want to see it done as fast as possible. (and I want a minimalist run, at least for first.)

That's the beauty of capitalism, though. It makes sure that people act civilly, whether they're altruists or egoists.

So does that mean you are doing an any% run?

Highness: I was talking about movie playing; not patching. Kyrsimys: You're right. I don't understand what the difference is, since the crc's are the same. Saturn: It looks good so far. Redesign will make a better tas than I thought. Is this going to be an any% run or full? I noticed a few places where you run up against a red door and run as soon as it opens. Wouldn't it be faster to stay back so you won't have to accelerate?

I'm using v1.43 + v10 via wine, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter whether the rom file has a header (especially since the crc's match).

It desyncs for me at the beginning, even though the roms match.

If the rule is that it has to stop at the end, then it should be really easy, even for a megaman game. All you have to do is play the game normally, and then, right before the end, pause it or otherwise get stuck so all the imput before won't do anything. Wait for the same period it took you to get there, finish the game, cut the last part, reverse it and stick it at the beginning, and then cut off everything from where you stopped. There you have it.

Kyrsimys actually has some good points. I can't reply anything that isn't either linguistically bigoted or also applicable to "official translations" made by noa. I still support the ban, though. And can we make a new thread for this, or maybe rename it? edit: I was reading another post which reminded me of something the rules said, viz.: "The movie should look like it could have been played with an authentic hardware. This makes it more familiar to the audience." Fan translations utterly fail on this point.
