Wow, this was amazing! The jumping was kind of boring, but after that this was all golden. Easy yes vote and seconding the seperate category motion.

It doesn't exist.
What's this then?

Amazing consept! I can't help but wonder if this is going to help me and will I ever learn this. Amazing, just amazing. I think that Aqfaq should be instantly promoted to the rank of Amazing Super Solid Human-Assisted TASer or ASSHAT. Seriously though, this was a funny submission.

I'm voting yes, if adelikat does an audio/video commentary with a tickle-me-Elmo. Otherwise voting no, because this game is a lot scarier than most horror games.

Wow, this was more entertaining than I had thought. I like it how it's all about fast car rides and explosions! I also think this is a good addition to the site because this game is really popular. Voting yes, although it's already accepted.

This was quite entertaining, but it got repetitive after a while. I'll still vote yes, because it was neat.

I voted meh, because this TAS didn't feature Barcelona by Freddie Mercury and Monststeraart Cablabblle... Montserrat Caballé! Well, the real reason I voted meh, is because it was pretty boring, but the game has some potential for a play-around. If you just barely qualify for the finals and then become the Danish Dominator, it would probably be a lot more awesome. Also, if there are some glitches, use them. So I'm daring you to complete a play-around TAS! Now come to think of it, I probably should've vote no for this run. Oh well, let's hope there'll be a new run.

I didn't find this impressive or anything, it was just boring and plain. Voting no.

This movie was bizarre, but mostly entertaining. So I'm inclined to vote yes! I also agree with DarkKobold, 2 or 3 player run would probably be more entertaining.

Great post, Nach. Gah, I'm bad with words, but I will try to write something. Hopefully it makes some sense. I'm glad that this was all a joke. I'm still sad though. Mainly because this site isn't nearly as active as it used to be in say 2005 for example. People don't post WIPs and if they do, they don't get any interest and so on. Glad that there seems to be more activity now and I hope it will last. I've been on and off the site for a while now for various reasons. Nowdays I've grown up, I'm more dedicated and I will try to help with the site anyway I can. I will try to contribute more by being more active in the fields of posting, TASing, moderating, editing and uploading runs to Dailymotion. I have limited recourses though.

I watched about 20 boards and enjoyed it more than the normal friction WIP, because it doesn't have those setup shots. I still disliked pocketing the cue ball, but it wasn't that bad. I guess I'll watch a couple of boards more and then decide what I vote. EDIT: I watched some more boards and I found this run entertaining. Voting yes.

To mz: So who gives a fuck about this run? I don't and probably most of the visitors here don't, so who does? Listing you or Hamm as ones who do doesn't count, because who gives a fuck?</rant> You can't just ignore opinions and views of the people running this site. If we would accept every single game for TASing, the site would be cluttered with meaningless and plain boring runs. This run might not be boring (I haven't seen it), but from the discussion I can see that it's pretty meaningless, as it doesn't offer anything that TASes usually do, except for the fast input, but that's not much.

Moved this topic to the Newbie Corner. To SonicGenesis: It's not encouraged to start a new topic on subjects that already have a topic (in this case, the subject is Sonic 3 & Knuckles). I decided to move this to Newbie Corner just this once, but in the future please use existing topics. Thanks.

Wow, this game really sucks. I'm glad you made the TAS a lot shorter, Randil! Couldn't find anything to complain about, except it looked like you could've jumped to the boss bit from the higher platform instead of climbing the "stairs" there, but I'm not sure at all. Anyways, voting yes because this is a great improvement over the published run.

Given that the race completions count in "double speed" mode and that it actually makes the game harder, I think that Turbo Level 5, double speed, is probably the best setting to TAS the game at.
I agree with this.

Now, there are several choices on what to TAS in this game, but I think the most entertaining may be single lap completions of every race. The problem there is that the only way to choose 1-lap races (to my knowledge) is through the Time Trials, and not all of the races are available in that mode until you beat the other modes. I will do some investigating.
I also agree that one lap completions are most entertaining. If there's a cheat code or something allowing to access all of the levels from the beginning, I think it should be used. These cheats might be an issue when submitting, but the Biker Mice from Mars used them to make the run actually entertaining and it was accepted.

Now that I've seen it, I must vote no. Although I love playing this game, watching a TAS of it bored me out of my skull. After the first race I just watched the first lap of every race and skipped the rest, as there was no variety in them. It's not really your fault, mz, but the game's. Racing games rarely offer anything special in a TAS and this is no exception to this "rule". This game has different game modes and maybe some exploitalbe and entertaining quirks in them. If you can find a non-traditional way to make a TAS or a racing game (I'm not sure if this game offers it, but it's worth testing, right? :) ) it would be awesome. EDIT: It seems that the N64 version would be better suited for TASing because of higher speed. Weatherton's WIPs were also a bit more entertaining, but that might be just because it was one lap per WIP.

Thanks for this encode. For the future though, try to adjust subtitle timing so that they're actually readable and please note that the URL is not www.tasvideos.org but http://tasvideos.org/ .

Hello sprite and welcome to TASVideos! I think you can manually write down the keypresses using data found here. I hope this helps with your question.

Yeah, but this a first submission, not an improvement. Even if the entertainement isn't maxed, there still enough decentness for the average viewer, right?
This "average viewer" will notice those missed shots, because in a game like Mega Man, they're very very noticable and missed shots look very very sloppy, even to average viewer. It's very easy to make sure you're not missing any shots with emulators. Leaving those missed shots in the run makes the run look very sloppy and it's in my opinion quite unentertaining.

I was quite bored by this run and it seems even more unoptimized than your last run. This time I have to vote no.

Are you asking how to give ratings as in you don't know how it to do it or are you asking how people base their given ratings? To rate movies, you have to log in to the main page and view a publication (like this page: http://tasvideos.org/1489M.html) or movie listings page (which can be found here: http://tasvideos.org/Movies.html) and click on "Rate this movie".

I voted meh. The hack is very unappealing in several places due to sprite flickering and somewhat repetitive stages. I liked all the action though, but it wasn't anything spectacular. The first level is full of missed shots that make the run seem really sloppy. This also gives the feeling that rest of the run is not as good as it could be, although it doesn't look that sloppy to me. More experienced MM2 TASers could probably comment on the technical quality here to help us noobies out? :)

I'm seconding moozooh here. Atom CPUs are just slow and if something needs even a bit more processing power, it's gonna be tacky and crappy and hot and not good, not even for food. So if there's an Atom under your hood... By the Atom processor, you might as well be a porcelain collector yo! Core 2 Duo and at least 3-4 GB of RAM is recommended for any computer nowdays.
