Would it be faster to use the flamethrower in the first miniboss in the third level (after the bugs and before the climbing). It might be possible to start hitting it a bit earlier with a flamethrower because goes through the body of the miniboss.

Sweet... It's legal! 1000 people are arrested or sued for downloading music or ROMs in the US, each year.
How many of these people download music and how many download ROMs?

This has an awful lot of no votes. What is the record for %votes being no whilst still being accepted/published?
Might be this.

Yes, there's a topic on the second page, but I don't like resurrecting topics, especially when they're approaching a year old.
Why the hell create a new topic to discuss about the same freaking thing?! Even if the old topic is one year old it's not bad in any way.

I agree with KDR_11k, it would be more boring, the run would become old pretty fast if it would be any longer.

Voting yes, it was fairly entertaining and an excellent improvement. Only thing that annoyed me a bit was constantly missing some shots (If those shots even missed).

All the SMB1 TAS improvements are accepted, even though the unassisted speedruns are only 6 seconds slower. I did a test run of this, which was similar to what a very good unassisted runner to do, and it was 28 seconds slower than this.
That has nothing to do with judging of this submission. Unassisted speedruns should NOT be compared to TASes.

You can find some info in the FAQ. With some games you need to let the game run for 10-15 seconds before playing the video. I hope this helps.

Afaik, the "you think that you have some kind of higher authority" is strange. Though, imo, I think that you and other people are jealous because yes, I have indeed an higher authority than common editors.
Now I don't respect you at all anymore.

Now that I've seen this improved version, I have to vote yes. This run was fast and entertaining and well done, but I have one question: Wouldn't it be possible to luck manipulate those "traps" from your way on the map? PS. You might want to cancel your old run ;)

I have to check this later because I'm familiar with this game in TASing sense. I'll edit my post when I have seen the run.

Hum is it faster than the published run, and does it looks good, rerecord is not a way to judge run, unless it could be improved.
It's a Mario run with 7 rerecords, I'm 100% sure that it can be improved a lot and I'm hoping that DMTM will improve it because he's pretty good with Mario games.

How about submitting this run? If you don't know how, first log in here and then click "Submissions" and there choose "Submit a movie".

You can still compare them. I don't see any good reason why not to compare Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Galaxy for example.
