P2 is so badass. Work with P1 until the final possible moment, then kill him off to get both hoes.

I think this needs to cool off. The run was meh. I sat through it but won't really recommend it to someone. Game pretty much failed.

I played this game to pieces as kid so I pretty much know it inside out. Still, this run fails to impress. The game is as lame now as it was 15 years ago. Voting no.

Do you think this movie can steal the star from COTM?
If there's gonna be only one of them, I'm all for it. CotM pretty much lost its star value a while back, it's nothing more than a huge load of luck manipulation, the rest is kinda "human" to it in gameplay terms.

As for the run, could somebody explain a little bit about the items you grab? It seems like you have to grab something in 1-3, 2-3, etc... what does this affect?
I'll take this one.

Finishing a x-3 level with a bonus coin allows for a bonus game to be played. I have yet not tried if it is faster to finish a level with only one bonus coin to see if the Bonus Game can be finished faster than the "LOL YOU HAVE NO COINS"-jingle
I also noticed that this game has been with me throughout all of my versions of Gens, lol.

Holy fucking shit. Here I thought I had already settled on what TAS of the Year would be and then you come here and ruin it all. This TAS was by far the best 28 minutes of my life. I am amazed all throughout, I'm really impressed by some of the strategies, and I was lol'ing quite a few times. I can't even being to imagine how hard all that luck manipulation must have been. Jesus H Christ. This is awesome.

I am at loss of words as to how optimized this run is. It's way smoother than I thought this game would ever be. Totally awesome work.

Yeah using second controller to achieve stuff probably falls under "cheating". That being said, I'm really looking forward to this run.

I thought this was amusing enough. I especially liked the horse. I don't have an opinion of the difficulty setting so I won't let it affect my judgment. Also I found it funny that you didn't beat the top score. Yes vote.

I want to be in the same team as Truncated next time, and that time, I'll be around from the beginning.

Ok so I forgot to vote on this one. This is an improvement as good as it gets, and Donkey Kong still remains as one of the most unexpected broken games. I voted yes.

...wait, you beat 1-1 15 frames faster? How the hell? We've steadily improved that over time. The latest version is 2 frames faster than the last WIP Tiger- did and we figured that was as fast as we can get it.
I slide all over the place. I'll PM the WIP tomorrow, I think I slide more or... uh... something >_>

So someone actually managed to download this? My uTorrent has been messing with me all night so I thought that no one got their hands on it. Sweet.
