I did not like it because it was boring and predictable. Same stuff happened all over again. SMB1 is not suited for TASing THERE WE GO I SAID IT. I'm not gonna enjoy a run just because it is an improvement to a run I did not like. That being said, I was not the one who voted no.

Probably someone jealous or maybe it's just a mistake.
Or someone who did not like the movie. Which would make more sense. Edit: Like myself for example. Super ZZZ Bros indeed. I will not vote, however, since my vote will not make any difference.

24 frames less of evil. Yes-vote.

I think Raiscan found that one a while back, however, is it worth it? The acid will take the double amount of time now ;( Also in other news, I am redoing both my runs now \o/ ThereIsNoWall I haven't been able to pull this off with the missiles yet because they accelerate too slow so I doubt that this is useful at all.

I vote no. Too many levels doesn't look like a skilled driver, or tool-assisted driver, and they look boring. Some stages are well done, like the final ice level, but overall, this is dull and too little racing.

It's a 28 minute long autoscroller which is slower than my car and ten times more boring. No.

Whoa I never expected a Megaman improvement to be this big. Congrats to your achievement. One thing I will say is that your Megaman clone battle could be improved by 1-2 frames.
Much like level 1 - 1 of Super Mario Bros 3? As for the run, I really don't really like glitching at this level but I like seeing old man Wily getting his ass kicked so I have a yes vote coming up.

You need a minor redo for this to be considered.

The movie must complete the game without viewer’s intervention. This means that if there are dialogs between the destruction of last boss and “the end” that do not go away without pressing some button, the movie must include those button presses.
Since your input ends before the score tally screen, you obviously don't clear past it, and the ending sequence doesn't come up on its' own. I did enjoy this, but I'll withhold my vote until the above issue is fixed.
Wait 618 frames after the black screen after the final boss and we should be good to go.

Awesome movie. ST2 next?
No, that game got horrible feedback back in the days but possibly MT if it feels like it contributes anything new to the Turrican-series. Also I like NVA's screens number 8 and 11.

What is it with everybody quadstarring Flying High as their first Expert-song? D: As for gaming I'm okay at Heroes III, Circle Of The Moon, Resident Evil 4, Time Shift and Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

I teach math to kiddies in the ages 16 - 20, mostly "troubled" kids, and a bit of simple C++, mostly to "untroubled" kids. Yep, you got it, I'm a teacher to ungrateful bastards, ehm, I mean, nice and polite kids.

Ok I have e-mailed an update of this run to Bisqwit, it is 25 frames faster and do not miss the jump which ziggy pointed out. In the final Dracula-battle, I use a glitch which allows me to fly. Yes, fly. I am aware that this could break the run into nothingness really fast, but I will not use it in a "non glitched run" EVEN though it is not the same glitch as the one used in the glitched TAS. To use the glitch, you need to start to hover first, which only(?) can be done as a skeleton, either using the Skeleton Surf or by turning enemies into stone or something like that. Then, you need to have Double, and do a Double Jump, and the jump becomes infinite. Pretty much. Also the 5 last screenshots are no longer, but I'll replace them with up-to-date screenshots tomorrow. comicalflop: Soulrivers: It's my third submitted version, but my eight tool-assisted run of the game. The others failed or died at different spots. Like at final Dracula. EDIT: Bisqwit <3

The game actually requires 1 extra input at the bird to see the end screen. Was this included in any previous run?
Nope. But indeed it does require that.

Very nice find. I remember trying to get that jump to work but I think that I jumped first then used the Roc Wing, which halved my speed and made it fail. I'll try to update it later on.

Okay I have picked this project up again after finishing another project, http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1206696333/Cardboard-Decap%20Attack%20%28UE%29%20%5B%21%5D.gmv 191 faster than my old test run thanks to... well... skipping the options menu. Since I take no damage, this is fair enough.

One good thing to know is that when the game is supposed to lag, it primary makes the enemies stop moving while Samus' moves at full speed, so try to use that if you want an enemy to stop for a few. I am also doing some other experimenting, but I might have to get back with those techs if I get them to work. One of them might include shooting through blocks. Also how did you do that water thingie?

I dunno if "higher max level in NTSC" is such a good argument. Does the current run reach max level any time, and also in PAL, does the STR quit increasing as well, or just the HP?

Yeah I spent a good amount of time jerking around like that but never found anything really good. Speaking of glitches, have you watched http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6099? Also check out this WIP: Click me here

Question about the two runs posted: Do either of them use a glitch that allows them to walk on spikes or walk through enemies without losing too much momentum? I haven't watched them yet, so I wouldn't know.
The only thing I know that I use is roll into an enemy/spikes and un-morph to keep on running, other than that, no.

You can't jump over that river, unless you mean suicide as an option?
Not that river, but like... 2 screens to the right of Dorago's Palace. There's a pretty large gain from being able to pass the river there I think.
