Double post! Yeah! Take that! Time to improve the full TAS! Alright I've picked up this useless piece of garbage again, and basically starts where my re-use levels TAS left. This WIP here contains level 5 played the way it should be played. 128 frames faster than in the published full TAS as well \o/ I am a link. Any suggestions for the next level? Or maybe this level before I start with the next level. Keep in mind that I haven't been able to reproduce that spider killing, but could probably do it if I had to.

Dear Fabian. I would like you to share that chicken with jalapeño and stuff with the world. At least with me. Sincerely, C.

WADDAP PARTNER?? Yeah I had Metroids over my ass while you were doing this, and I felt that I really could not keep up with you. Either way, awesome run of the REAL version of this game. I vote yes by a lot.

Well. My Metroid 2 does not show the floor only at any time when running. That's for sure.

I vote yes only because JXQ added Kirby's walk with an enemy in his mouth. And the ponies.

Necro bumping! So I'm into Rygar all of a sudden and got a suggestion on IRC that maybe it's time to re-define the "warpless"-run into an "all items"-run (In case someone would like to yell at me on IRC for this idea, find me in #tasvideos on freenode or drop a PM to Cardboard on the previously mentioned server (PM is probably the safest way (Parenthesis))) . After all the "warpless"-run is already abusing more or less every glitch in the game with the exception of "warping", but it is using the floating glitch, and not to mention the way Deathpigor is handled in the Tower Of Garba etc. Soooo... would this create an uproar if I aimed for "all items/all bosses", and other than that, had no restrictions on how to get there, and obsoleted the current "full" run? (My opinion on this: Rygar is a fun game to glitch, but I also like the "warpless" run as it is now, but maybe it's time to break up with the past route and realize that all bosses in the game can be slain much faster, and much more fucked up. However if the majority of the viewers wants me to not glitch, and stick to the old route, then I suppose... that that's what I'll do) End of not-making-sense-post.

Yeah it did. They have 300 HP each, and I raised my DAM from 5 to 6 I think, which cut down my amount of attacks by a decent amount. This also made me have 40 DAM against Ligar rather than 39, as I would have had if I had not killed what was worth Tone on the way to Eruga. This alone saved me 200+ frames against Ligar. On a totally unrelated note, this can be achieved by jerking around in Eruga's Chamber.

I'd like to see an improved full-game route that doesn't warp around. Thanks for using the U version though.
Say hi to E-ROM then. Sorry but the E-ROM cuts so many shortcuts that shorter boss fights in the U-ROM can not re-gain that time. The Grappling Weapon-run can (And will if I do it) be done with the U-ROM though. Also by warp around I hope that you accept the "Go through a pit to end up high in the sky"-glitch. Also you are welcome.

This is a problem. Firing all rounds to save time, or only fire as many as needed to make it look clean?

That is on the list. I only needed to get to know the physics of the game, and I think that I just did. The warpglitch with grappling weapon is also on the list (Muahahahah Morrison >:D )

I also believes that only one bomb hurts her, even if 3 are planted. So yeah bombs are the emergency plan.

I think that only 1 bomb can be planted for damage. Even if 3 bombs could be planted, it would do 90 damage in 250 frames, which still makes it slower since 90 missiles can be fired in 180 frames.

Nope. A bomb causes 30 damage to Queen, a missile 1 (She has 150). A bomb, however, takes ~250 frames before it takes effect, while 30 missiles can be fired in 60 frames (Queen have no invulnerability time).

Alright here's what happened: I decided to turn into a ball there because I needed to jump as a ball in the next room, and since I was already ducking, I could as well give up 1 frame in this room to turn into the ball as giving up 1 frame in the next room to turn into the ball over there. That should explain it.

I haven't tested or watched (Just checked the frame numbers against my spread sheet) when writing this, but my guess would be that I was already standing up, and wearing Varia, so running is equally fast to rolling, and I did not lose time by running shooting, while dropping into a ball would have cost me time. If this wasn't the case, then I guess it was a mistake.

Yeah that turned into my "thing" when submitting movies a few runs back in time (Both of my W&W-movies have Swedish names with roughly translated titles and descriptions, as well as my any% of this game), so that's how it will have to be \o/
